    Been a 10C member for quite some time and this is my first post. I just wanted to say thanks for the hook-up @ the Omni. I wanted to stay there because its so close to the venue but was hesitating because of the price. THANKS for getting the great deal!

    I'm coming up from Ft. Lauderdale and will most likely be going solo to the concert. Since the tix are fan club, I'll have an extra ticket to sell for the May 8th show.

    I did get tix to see Mr. Vedder both nights in Fort Lauderdale.

    Arab Spring. Prague Spring. This is an Eddie Vedder Spring!!!!

    Gotta question that's sorta off-topic. I had read a while back that no cameras are allowed in Ed's shows. Does anyone know if this is true?

    When I was at the Hartford show I saw venue employees approach people that had flash cameras. I'm assuming it was to warn them not to do it again. Keep in mind that these are smaller venues so it can be quite distracting when someone is snapping away from the third row.

    Yeah, I know flash photography isn't allowed but back in the old days I used to sneak a camera in. I suppose with cell phone cameras and all photography isn't an issue anymore. Pearl Jam was the first concert I ever attended where photography was allowed. Just wonderin' about Mr. Ed's shows.

    Oh, yeah...I booked a night at the Omni for the first night, also. I hope I'll be able to get a ticket. : )

    He has asked people NOT to bring cameras. This is true.

    I have received a good response from people about the preparty. Be advised, this is NOT a wishlish foundation party. This is just a place for us to meet and hang out before the shows. I have talked to the venue (Chicago Pizza at the Jacksonville Landing) and he has agreed to open the outside bar right on the river and set up some music and will play whatever we want to hear. I have yet to get him to agree to any drink specials. This is all it is, just a place for us to relax and grab a drink before the shows. Thanks and hope to see everyone there.

    Thank you so much for setting this up. I just got a ticket for the 7th and booked my room as well. Still looking for a single for the show on the 8th though.

    Definitely can't wait to see my first EV show and meet some of you!

    that's my understanding...the plus is that the landing has plenty of bars/restaurants so you could always hop around if you so desire. Only about 50 days to go.... :mrgreen:

    Don't feel sorry for me though because I'm still going to Ft. Lauderdale. My cousin lives down there and he's a huge PJ/Ed fan as well, so he talked me into going down there. It's all good though. If I can find a couple hundred dollars before May, I'm going to try and find a way to Jacksonville for one of the shows
