very good work sir, i called the jersey girl, who does alot of travel plans for 10c. She isn't able to get here, you did great. Except for those who need to see the ocean, the downtown area is great. LOts of water, very close (walking distance) to show. Best of all, all your party favorites, well just get here, on the d low.

Just an FYI, I was just on the Omni page and they have an $80 a night deal for any retired or active military or any state, local or federal employees. You can book up to 2 rooms at that rate.

We're a big military town, so anywhere you call you're likely to get a deal, just FYI. Glad to see everyone getting excited!

I forgot to mention the military rate of $80. I am military also but will be driving the 8 miles back to my house or have my DD drive me home. Can't wait to see everyone.

Very cool. My wife and I will be driving down from the Charlotte area now that our fan club tix are confirmed. Great job setting this up. Our room at the Omni is booked. I'm looking forward to the pre-party meet up.

Thanks for the info. Room is booked. Heading down from Phila. with a friend for Jax and Clearwater.
No need to call the hotel. Omni has online chat support and they were able to send me a direct link with the 109 Evenflow rate. Quick and easy.

Also if there are any golfers coming to town and looking for something to do Tuesday or Wednesday, The Players Championship practice rounds are going on. It is about 25 miles from downtown.

Oh, good call! Didnt even think about that. Our minor league baseball team (Jacksonville Suns, AA affiliate of the FL Marlins) are also hosting a homestand that week. There are afternoon games the day before and after the show. It's a great little ballpark about 1.5 miles east of the Moran Theatre.

I initially told the hotel to hold about 10 rooms. We are at 7 rooms booked already but they will keep booking people for $109 until they run out.

Really bummed...

I was hoping to see Ed in Ft. Lauderdale and also go to the Jacksonville show (by myself). After talking it over with the GF, it doesn't look like I'll have the money to travel to Jacksonville to see Ed. Living only 2-2.5 hours away, this show seemed like a sure deal, but not anymore. Oh well. Hope everyone has a killer time!
