    Very cool. My wife and I will be driving down from the Charlotte area now that our fan club tix are confirmed. Great job setting this up. Our room at the Omni is booked. I'm looking forward to the pre-party meet up.

    Thanks for the info. Room is booked. Heading down from Phila. with a friend for Jax and Clearwater.
    No need to call the hotel. Omni has online chat support and they were able to send me a direct link with the 109 Evenflow rate. Quick and easy.

    Also if there are any golfers coming to town and looking for something to do Tuesday or Wednesday, The Players Championship practice rounds are going on. It is about 25 miles from downtown.

    Oh, good call! Didnt even think about that. Our minor league baseball team (Jacksonville Suns, AA affiliate of the FL Marlins) are also hosting a homestand that week. There are afternoon games the day before and after the show. It's a great little ballpark about 1.5 miles east of the Moran Theatre.

    I initially told the hotel to hold about 10 rooms. We are at 7 rooms booked already but they will keep booking people for $109 until they run out.

    Really bummed...

    I was hoping to see Ed in Ft. Lauderdale and also go to the Jacksonville show (by myself). After talking it over with the GF, it doesn't look like I'll have the money to travel to Jacksonville to see Ed. Living only 2-2.5 hours away, this show seemed like a sure deal, but not anymore. Oh well. Hope everyone has a killer time!

    Thank you so much. I had already booked earlier at the $169 price. I called up and they switched it to the discount rate.

    FYI... The Omni extended the promo EV rate of $109 for the 2nd show date of May 7th. Just call and ask them for the "evenflow" rate. This party is gonna be awesome.

    sweet, they must have done that on their own. I didn't set that up. Last week Mitt Romney stayed there for the jacksonville debate so must be a pretty nice hotel. Maybe Eddie will stay there. We'll see.

    New here! Fan since '91 but because I spent the 90's broke and the 00's in college, I never joined on here nor have I been to a show. Driving to Jacksonville to see EV will be my first experience. I have my tickets and I have my rooms booked. I wanted to thank you for getting this group rate. I am sooooo excited.

    It's so nice to get on here and see how wonderful you guys are, how helpful. Yes, I'm gonna have about a 15 hour drive, but I'm going to see Eddie Vedder and the ocean for the first time-- the same year I turn 40...seems fitting, eh?

    Welcome! So let me get this straight...you've never seen the ocean?!?!? As much as I love EV and PJ, I think the beach could be just as big of a treat for you! Plus, I'm sure Ed will be catching some waves while he's here so you may just bump into him. Try the poles.

    Thanks so much for the information......my wife and I got tickets through ticketmaster quickly today even though we were shut out on the lottery. I just called the OMNI and booked the room by phone without any issues. Very professional staff and didn't ask any questions about the fan club discount and booked it at $109.....they also just hold the room with the card and won't charge you until you show up.

    Looking forward to meeting some of you in Jacksonville.

    I know-- it's sad, right? I'm turning 40 this year and I have never seen the ocean. I've always lived sort of in the middle of nowhere-- Tennessee mostly-- so the ocean might as well be the moon to me. I think if I did see Eddie and the ocean somehow at the same time-- I might just have a stroke and die.

    And I might agree that the ocean would be a bigger treat but that I got tickets for BOTH nights, so one ocean, two EVs. The ocean's got its work cut out for it, eh?

    What's the poles? Forgive my ignorance...

    Just got an email from my OMNI rep and she says we have 21 rooms booked so far. I had previously told her to hold about 10 rooms but they will keep taking reservations for the discounted rate until they run out of rooms. She said you guys must be die hards. I told her, "If you only knew". Thanks and see everyone there.
