I agree that the Zurich 92 show is awesome. I don't know if it's "epic," but I used to have a european boot of that show, and it totally rocked my world. Then it was stolen with my other cd's when my car was ripped off.
Also, I don't know the city, possibly Milan, but there was a show when Eddie did "the part, the part where I play the pope." That shit was awesome--the whole thing, not just the pope part.
Another early one featured Eddie doing a little diddy that went, "Mom and daddy come and look at me now, I'm a figment in this great big town, years ago who would believe it's true, goes to show what a little faith can do."
If Chris, you, or anyone, can supply me with access to these old shows, I will be in your debt. peace

I think you have '03 well covered. I don't think Holmdel is epic. Great setlist, for sure tho.

although you could legitimately add Santa Barbara '03 (Temple of the Dog reunion). never heard a great quality copy of that show tho.

Great Woods II '98 is certainly ledgendary for the "quarter rant" alone. plus it is a rippin show and a clean sound.

How about Indio, CA 11/05/1993? The "shoe the shoeless" show.
Certainly a legendary performance from the guys just for staying on stage with shoes flying at them. Playing behind their amps at certain times. Probably some of the funniest comments by Ed ever.

well, first download WinRar from here:

after you have downloaded that, the megaupload thing that you downloaded will look like a book. You should move that to your desktop. then, just right click the file and click "extract here."

So I download winrar as instructed (although is only appears to be a file folder with no actual program attached). Then I tried downloading from megaupload and the files keep dowloading as a quicktime .mpeg file. I'm on Mac OSX. Neither of these programs appear to work as advertised. Any recommendations?

I think that, if you want to know the history of this band live, then you need to know about this show and what happened. I don't think it's a great show on it's own, but it is definitely "unforgettable". plus the boot is a clean sound.

even tho the performance is really unsettling and kinda...evil

Thanks so much for takin the time to do this but i do recommend another site to upload it to other then mega since they have a limit. they only let you download 1 file and after that you exceed the limit.

i wasnt asking him to change anything then what he's already done.

but for the future shows that he plans on putting up, maybe he should try another host that is more user friendly and without a download limit.

if he doesnt like it then he can go back to whatever he feels more comfortable with.

i deal with these kind of sites everyday of the week

I wonder why it's not working for everyone the same. I've been downloading about 5 or 6 entire shows every day for the past four days. I don't even have a premium account--just using the free download. I hope my downloading that many is not negatively affecting other people--if it is I will stop.
Are you talking about another problem? I never deal with these sites, until lately. But it seems to be working fine for me--once I figured out how to open the files with Stuffit for macs. hope it gets easier for ya'll. peace

OK, I had no problem with extracting the files and stuff using WinRar, but my mp3 player says it cannot play this type of file. Am I an idiot for expecting my mp3 player to, you know, play mp3s?

I don't have an iPod, I have a Sony mp3 player, but I've never had this problem before. Is there anything I can do to the files to get them to play?
