yes he did I felt bad for him I think he has done better

he needs to stay his lower register where his voice has strength and take it to the high range at certain
points not the other way around :?

Not his best but he'll probably get through ... Grandma's choice maybe

I was wondering if a boy's voice is fully changed at that age or still developing

    I think they do ...

so the girls some pretty good

I know they grow over time and performance
we got a few fine voices and a couple with big personalities
not sure we have any with both though

the guys there are a couple with both

been 5 years they said since a female winner

tonight we know the top 13 :D

They brought back Jerome ... the baritone night before last
he sang 'Dance With my Father'

not sure if they brought a girl back too last night
I was drinking some wine by show's end

tonight it's final for both guys and girls ...

5 or each chosen by America and then each judge chooses one contestant to put through too
    making top 13

you'll probably see what you missed ... they'll play catch up most likely
    and review all the performances

Man that girl should not have gone home last night, than deandre sucks a$$ imo...

I can only see him singing certain songs, not all ranges.... as randy says a great singer should have no problem singing the phone book...

word dog... thats so bad

I figured it might be her though ... she was cracking a bit under pressure.

I think diversity to some degree drives the Top 10 that will tour.
Totally agree Deandre not my favorite voice at all, needs a lot of work,
maybe he'll blow away a Michael Jackson tune ... that would be nice.

Speaking of tunes... not liking the selection much yet ...
hubby is thinking he can't take one more sappy song

Yes so true ... Celine type music is my least favorite too, over the years I've heard a lot of it
    on AI

I recognize the really fine voices and these are shown off best in ballads but usually
these voices just aren't my favorite.

I like a funkier more personality sound

Joshua might really stand out with a good voice and personality stage presence
    this year.

close second our cute Georgia boy Phil Phillips, cute as a button :D

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNimpEvw ... re=related

this sounds so much better than the other night to me...
the music live seemed to drown him out I thought

loved the baby pics of everyone too! :D

Last year the fella with the upright bass he was quirky, voice good but not great,
    was sent packing...
I fear that could happen with Phil. He's gonna need to give us a couple ballads too
switch it up, really feel them...
maybe a favorite of mine ... Joe cocker

when it was the year 91 for the rocker fella I wished he'd do a PJ song
I know makes many here cringe

I remember him, he did his audition with a lil keyboard. NOW he had talent. I enjoyed watching him very entertaining. Casey Abrams... very talented.

yes yes Casey .. me too loved him, well I am a bass fan all around too

sometimes America doesn't get the funkier performers and bases it on all voice

I don't vote ... I feel less stress that way

my wife watches this show, therefore, sometimes i watch it, and i must say they ( the public) made a big mistake this week, i would've sent home Heejun Han, he was awful.

Yes I agree his voice is not strong ...I would like to see something else from him.
It would be cool if he could bring some old jazzy blues stuff or Rat Pack 50's.
Song choice can help where the voices lack.
He has a wild funny personality we are not seeing in his performances at all
    and I'm not sure why.

He must grow soon or he is gone for sure.

heejun should have went home last night. But i am torn as he is pushing everyones buttons.

pissed off randy, steven, and Tommy Hill... Oh well.

he is a funny kid and more entertaining than rest.

I agree and I kind of liked his take on the song... it was good to see another side to him,
    he's been a little boring.

I felt bad for Erika... they cut her hair and dyed it black! If she is a natural-ish blonde
that is a biggie. She took it well but that must have been difficult such a drastic formation.

And then she goes home! That's the kicker...

I think who is voting is a lot of very young kids and Erika is the oldest
contestant so doesn't have the following of the others.

    Mansion next week ... :D

I thought she did very good as well and did not deserve it. I guess deandre and heejun will be next anyways- just a matter of time. I see too that Colton guy is only in it because of the young teenage girls. I guess i have to accept it for what it is.. he made a mess of that song. I find myself asking the wife sometimes, do you think there is something wrong with the TV speakers because when the judges give their comments, its totally opposite of what we are thinking- ie colton. I found him pitchy and all over the place.
