Well the Jets finally saw what it is like to have an NFL caliber QB run their team in the 4th quarter. Wasted the full season letting him languish on the bench while the 41 year old GM tried his hand at it instead.
Good I hope we have seen the last of this asshole in the uniform I’ve never rooted against any of the past jets failed quarterback’s until this past two seasons!
As Wroggers is also the de facto GM, he'll be a Jet again next season. Enjoy that.
I watched the 1st couple of plays when he went down in his 1st season and that was it! I haven’t watched another snap and won’t till he’s gone and Woodie sells the team!

The Jets were on the right track.  They had a lot of young top-end looking players on rookie deals and more assets.  I think Saleh also inspires players to work hard which is a good and important trait.

The Rodgers thing completely destroyed that whole thing.  What a disaster.

First, there are zero things enjoyable about being a jets fan. It's who we are, and we are not going to bandwagon to the out of town teams like all the cowboy and Steeler fans in the world.

Rodgers and the jets are bad enough without an absurd comparison to two garbage time forty point deficit team touchdowns.

The jets lose decade after decade because they consistently make mistakes when the game is competitive. It's who they are and will always be until the Johnsons are out of there. Taylor proved nothing. Put him in as the starter before elimination and he will lose just like Sam, Aaron and Geno did.

I was born in Pittsburgh, lived there after college, spent most of my life in Virginia.  The amount of Steelers fans I've met that have no ties to the city whatsoever is funny, and definitely on par with Cowboys fans.

Game of the regular season next week in Detroit. If the Vikings don't completely fold under the pressure, it will be a great game. Too bad one of those teams ends up as the 5th seed. Seems fucked up.

American playoff systems are poorly designed, because the leagues here believe their sports are so bad, rivalries need to be manufactured by having small divisions, and the winners of all these divisions need some sort of regular season championship and playoff reward.

As a reward for having a great reg season, the loser will have no chance of a home playoff game, while two teams now at 9-7 will have a home playoff game next week.

If they had a different owner he or Rivera may have been able to do something. If the coach needs to worry about a third generation silver spoon entering the lockers to distribute game balls, its over

Having grown up in Cleveland, living in Tampa for a decade, and now VA for 20+ years, I will say that the Steelers are a national brand for sure.  Winning four SB's in the 70's is going to do that.  But it is particularly pronounced here in VA.  I noticed that as soon as I moved.  It seemed like there were almost as many Steelers fans as Skins fans.  Now that is down here in Richmond area, not up in NOVA where I think you are. But Steelers have a huge regional presence, no doubt.
