Chiefs crack me up. Like they were ever gonna lift a pinky finger to help the Bengals make the playoffs.
Yep. Bengals only shot was for Nix and Broncos to shit the bed in such extreme fashion that Chiefs couldn't help but win. Too bad, I would have liked to see Cincy squeak in, they'd have mad things interesting.

Also fun seeing Patriots screw up their draft pick.
Black coaches get fired after one year way more frequently than white coaches. WaPo did an analysis a while back. Also that happened with the Eagles' OC last year. Of course that was a fugly offense for sure.

I almost felt like even the Chiefs starters would have fallen to that buzzsaw yesterday. Nix was on fire.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

There’s something to be said about starting all of those games in college. It makes a difference. That’s why I’m really high in Cam Ward.
i could see the Commies winning and also the Rams, if Darnold is still seeing ghosts. Otherwise, it looks pretty chalky.

Horrible playoff system. Three road teams traveling to play at the home of teams that have an inferior record. The NFL should be better than this. One area where NFL smells like CFB. Home field advantage should be decided on the field, with the better team record gets the home field advantage. . If division champs are so important, skip the Super Bowl and award the trophies now.
The NFL had a PERFECT playoff format when they had the 16 game season. This new one, including streaming a game and inexplicably putting one game on Monday, thus giving the team awaiting the winner an advantage is bullshit.
I don't have an issue with the division champs getting to host a game though.

The #1 seed has too many advantages, and usually it can come down to something floppy like schedule/easy division, week 18 becoming a preseason week now, etc. Health is so critical now.

I don’t know. The only mismatch seems to be Vikings going to LA. And it’s sort of a fluke for two teams in the same division to have records as good as Lions and Vikings. It doesn’t seem as egregious as the CFP first round.

Everything made perfect mathematical sense with the 16-game schedule, Perfect system, 8 4-team divisions, rotation of interconference games, no extra home or away game. But greed as usual got in the way.

We see right through the "my team who are defending champs at 15-2 with the bye, playing their best football of the season in December and the best player in the game by a longshot aren't that good this year" reverse double secret probation psychology BS,

Unless Mahomes gets injured they are a lock to win the Superb Owl.
No way.
I mean, they might win, but they are FAR from a lock.

I too, will disagree with this. Sure, I can see them win another Superb Owl. But a lock? Don't tell that to Buffalo or Detroit. Detroit beat the fuck out of a few teams this year. They can score a ton of points.

Agree on all fronts with this. Division champs should host.
Going to Birds/Pack on Sunday. I hate the Packers, gonna be a fun game.
I'll stay with who I predicted at beginning of year. Eagles / Ravens.

The Giants are bringing back GM and coach? What does ownership know that everyone else does not? Shocked.
