That was a good run Tommy, but the party is OVER.

    Please retire, like today.

Seriously let someone else play. It'll suck when we have to hear him on Fox all the time. I guess be careful what you wish for.

We'll see.  He had a lot of distraction out of the gate and Tampa is a severely flawed team.

I could see him getting pissed and working extra hard from this moment forward.  No distractions or nagging wife or annoying kids.  Signing on to a turnkey offense like the Dolphins or maybe Raiders and doing well.

For sure.  But the Raiders are such a dumb organization they will sign him

    So sad, Tommy Gravy, bye-bye!

Battle Royale with 49ers Cowboys.  Sure they want payback for last year....come and get it Dak!
Gonna be a close one,  I think.  If Brock can stay away from turnovers I think Niners Nail Em.

Niners are better than Bucs in EVERY regard….skill positions, defense, coaching and, yes, QB.

at first, I wasn’t thinking much about the Cowboys upcoming “short week”….but with the Niners playing the early game Saturday, the Cowboys are at a 2+ DAYS disadvantage for preparation. Plus they had to fly home last night and have to fly to SF. I see three days of prep vs. five days. I know it’s all about $$$, but the NFL should have had 3 games of each conference this past Sat/Sun and then had those same conferences play the same day this coming weekend.

Agree the MNF Wild Card game is massively unfair to the participants. I mean if you don't like it, get the #1 seed, not crying for anyone.

Cowboys played well. You have to like the Prescott vs. Purdy matchup if you're them.

You probably have to go back to the one-legged kicker in the 1944 NFL Championship Game. (yes I made that up but it's not too far off from some of the stuff happening at the time)

No, and he missed his only PAT attempt in Week 18. He was good all year but that’s a troubling trend.

agree, but the results for niners and cowboys weren’t surprising so you kind of could have seen this coming. At a minimum, they could have had the Niners play Sunday.

cowboys probably had the most people in their history rooting for them last night.

can’t believe some network is gonna pay brady all that money as an announcer. a) I doubt he’ll be the least bit engaging and b) most of the country wishes he would just go away.

Sports announcing across the board has gone to shit... while I can't say I'm looking forward to Brady in the booth, I can't imagine him being much worse than what we currently have.

kinda my point….very, very few will tune in BECAUSE of brady; many more will have the game on mute.

BTW - I just read where some degenerate gambler won $400k on the under by half a point. does dallas’ kicker get a cut?

I like Collinsworth, Romo and Olson.  The others, meh.  The pairing between them I think is good.

I don't watch any Thursday night football, is Al Michaels any good anymore?

Al was pretty weak in the Jax/Chargers game. He's definitely lost his fastball.
And pairing him with Tony Dungy for that game was a poor decision.

Dungy isn't great in the booth.  I wish Gruden was still around.

I think Daryl Johnston does a good job.

    Gus Johnson and Kevin Harlan.
Had Harlan on radio Sunday when I was in the car doing the Vikings/Giants game. He's good.

Then maybe take him off the college gig. To me, Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen just don't have that "big game" feel to them that you want from your number 1 announcing team.
