Because he was a punt returner fighting for more targets.   He really popped in Year 4 to become The Man.
He is going to be another of the sad stories of broke ex-athletes.

But even when he became one of the best WRs in the league I feel like we never heard anything from him....it's just the past year where he really went off the deep end.

Sounds like all the guaranteed money in his contract can be voided if he gets suspended.  What an asshole.

I think you are right.  He was unusual but I don't remember him being so out of control until last year.
You cannot yell at, and threaten to hit, your boss.
    They should cut him.

So I probably should not have drafted him then?

Sort of, he started to blow up in year two. The Steelers actually signed him long term after his 2nd season rather than spend the money on Mike Wallace one they saw the potential.  Most of the sports writers said he was pretty normal the first couple years, and was one of the hardest workers in practice.

I was trying to find futures on him over the weekend to hammer the under on everything but none of the app sports books had any. They know what they’re doing

Even if we suck the silver and black is still the coolest looking jersey in history.  B)

honestly good for the Raiders for standing up and shutting the guy down before the season (assuming he’s being cut)  A lot of teams just put up with guys like that.  Oakland will not have to pay him the $30m contract and can now spend that next spring on someone else.   We lost a third rounder on him but we have five 1st rounders between 2019 and 2020.  It was worth taking a shot.

What a terrible display of SportsBall tonight. Much more glad I spent it talking about politics at a bar. What a weird thing to type.

Chiefs, tone deaf....as tone deaf could be.
    $35MM guaranteed.
Wonder to what extent it truly is guaranteed.
This guy is a walking heap of garbage.
I really would love to root for the team, due to Kelce, Mahommes, the Kool Aid Man....but f, and Chiefs.
For sure rooting against them, now, in every game.
