Not big news at all because, in the end, in Bill we trust. And I expect one or both to be trade bait for that as yet unforeseen need due to injury. And therein lies the difference between the patriots and everyone else.

1994. I don't count Baltimore. Unless this current Cleveland franchise didn't exist. Otherwise the Baltimore Orioles won 27 championships when they became the New York Yankees

They were still in Cleveland, it was the year before Modell announced the move.  Then he was stuck coaching a distracted franchise and city in 1995.  He had the Browns headed in the right direction.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

5 out of 6 seasons with a losing record before Brady took over. and 0-2 that season before Brady took over.  my guess is he retires soon after brady so we will never see what he can do without the greatest qb of all time.

Jacoby is officially the man in Indy with a new contract ... if the Colts didn't gift Andrew Luck a billion dollars when he walked out the door I would suggest Jacoby give Luck at least a 10% cut of his new salary.  It's a good sign that the Colts feel confident and look to at least attempt to make a run instead of going full-blown Hinkie

Anywho, I enter the Jacoby Brissett era optimistically

Hilton was target the least amount in his career and had his worst season when Brissett was QB in 2017. You gotta hope that changes

Irsay will have another DUI before the season’s out and will be raising the “so close” banner. Meanwhile, vinitari shatters the record for FG made/attempt. And jacoby will have flashes of brilliance.

kickers today have gotten too good.  it's why the idea of Carli Lloyd being able to kick at that level is beyond absurd.

Agree, not because of her vagina, but because the kickers have worked at this for years and years....and the tolerance (as the article points out) for missing is getting smaller and smaller.
That stated, maybe that gets her a shot...and no saying that she could not be a freak at it and be exceptional....but odds would be long that someone just taught to do it would be good enough at this level.
That stated, I think the NFL is ripe for Kathy Ireland to make her comeback.

agree, to me to think someone could just pick it up now and be good as others who have practiced for years is crazy. maybe she has the leg strength (although i have doubts she can get it there with 2.5 steps) but the consistency i can't see being there.

and Kathy Ireland was and actually still is pretty damn stunning.
