Denver's defense is solid. Itll probably come down to a couple mistakes

Brady took more abuse in the 2nd half of this season than the rest of his career combined.

I would love to re-watch the game and count the number of times Brady complained or gave death glares to the officials after he was hit. I hate that about him and is why I would never put him over Montana. Montana had to play in an era when you had Lawrence Taylor trying to kill you and defenders body slamming or head shotting you. Brady would not have been able to play back then.

Hahahahaha. The fans in AZ are already complaining they want a new QB. Palmer sucked yesterday but they will not be able to get anyone better. Fair weathered fans.

    Me too

Expecting Peyton to retire 1-3 in the SB

Panthers might go 18-1 and be SB champs and I'm still wondering how they are so good lol

If Carolina wins, where do they place in history in terms of best teams ever? I can't believe I'm even asking that.

They had this debate in AZ after the Panthers crushed the Cards. Using record as a qualifier and only after league went to 16 game schedule as part of the debate. 2 teams have gone 18-1 while winning a super bowl (84 49ers and 85 Bears). Pats don't count since they lost the big one that 18-1 year. The consesus is Panthers are 3rd. That Bears team probably goes first with the 49ers a close second. Both had all time greats on them which elevates their status. 49ers had Montana and Lott (Rice was drafted later) and Bears had Payton and the best defense ever. This Carolina team is missing those all timers to compete with the other 2.

To me that's what makes this Panthers team so interesting. But who knows, maybe in a few years Cam Newton will be seen as an elite all time player.

They will be the best team this year. That's all you can really say about any team. It's all about matchups. The best team doesn't always win the Super Bowl.

Though I think you could argue for a couple of other teams that didn't go 18-1 being better all time than this year's Panthers...

    78 Steelers
    88 49ers
    91 Redskins
    03 Patriots
    04 Patriots

All 17-2, arguable they may have played tougher competition, but history will bear that out.

Carolina only had wins over three teams that finished over .500 and two of those teams were the Texans and Redskins.

2007 Pats were one of the best teams I've witnessed and only a miracle helmet catch saved humanity from the ultimate gloat ... unless you grew up in Nicaragua, where the 2007 Pats team are known as the greatest team ever.

I noticed they had an easy schedule but I didn't realize it was that bad. However, they beat the hell out of the Seahawks and Cardinals.
