I’ve got 0-0 in my work square betting pool. I never win but it definitely makes the game a lot more fun. Would love a 10-0 first, 20-10 half time, 30-20 third and a 60-50 final.
I was once at a bar, where the pool was at least $1000 and the same guy won every fucking quarter and the final because of some numbers like those. the bar was not amused

reminds me of the St. Paul pre-party where I won like 3 t-shirts, 4 posters and a hoodie.
That is why I only join a pool that changes numbers every quarter.

0-0 sucks, 9-9 sucks... So on and so forth but I did win one year with a final of 7-5.
    It was 5-1, sorry...

I have friends that routinely schedule vacation days to get over big events/trips, etc.
Have never done this -- always want to squeeze the hell out of every day of PTO we get -- but it always does seem to be a good idea.

  • I have 12 different sets of numbers on 12 entries into 4 pools.  From 3-3, 3-7, and 3-4 good type of numbers to ones you would never expect to win like 8-2 and 9-2....you never know what can happen.
Would love to get in a few more if anyone has 'em going!

When I first saw 5-1  I said well, I lost, lol.

Moving back the PAT and adding the 2pt conv has really made the games more fun.  Having an 8 isn't so bad and having a 6 doesn't mean 2 FG's anymore either!

I only went back to 03 but here they are.

    1-3
    4-8
    4-0
    8-4
    3-8
    4-1
    1-7
    1-5
    1-7
    7-3
    7-4
    9-7
    1-0
    4-1
    2-9
    8-1

    Perchance.
0-0 is especially good when the Pats play.

    in the 8 previous Brady era SB's it's been 0-0 after the first 4 times. (38, 39, 49 & 51)

    This weekend we rock Portland

^ Those are just the final scores of course.
I think 0-0 is the square that actually hits the most often historically.

Now I’m really getting excited. I don’t typically “gamble” except for the SB and March Madness pools. I could use some cash American.

  • Didn't even play squares this year; not feeling that charitable.  I ALWAYS end up with at least one 2 every fucking year.  Usually get some bullshit like 2-5.

except no Eagle fan has claimed it didn't happen. Pats fans love to claim neither Bellichick nor Brady have cheated...yet the organization was penalized by the league of both.  anyway don't you guys have a game to be concerned about?
As a fan since '71 I've never said or even think the breaking of the rules didn't happen. It did happen I just don't think the Patriots gained any advantage in what they did. The price is being paid in that they will forever be called cheaters regardless of what evidence may say otherwise. So yes continue to call the Patriots cheaters of the NFL and have their championships voided.

Not concerned about the game, I'm confident the Patriots will win this game.

    Peace

Not gaining an advantage doesn't make you not a cheater. It just makes you a bad cheater.

How is it delusional when that is exactly what they were found in violation of?
