giving the cheatriots a bye and a home game for going 11-5 in an absolute garbage division while making the 12-4 chargers play two road games three time zones away is bullshit. no wonder NE gets to the SB every year.
Waaaaaaaa, I’m surprised you didn’t accuse Kraft of cheating. Winning your division should mean something.

every team in the NFC east has won the division since 2011. without looking it up, I think every NFC west team has taken the title somewhat recently. probably AFC south too(?). is it the pats fault their division sucks? no, but it sure has paved the way for them, year in and year out.

    fuck ‘em!

All this proves is your pathetic Cowboys can't remain consistent for even a small run of consecutive seasons, same for the other teams in your division.

Look up some hard numbers on the AFC East and you'll see its not as bad as you think...Beefalo was a playoff team last year, Miami in 2016, Jets in 2009 & 2010 under Sexy Rexy. Nobody complained about the AFC South while Peyton was dominating for over a decade.

And while you're at it look at Brady's win pct. vs. the division and vs. rest of league

.794 vs. the AFC East and .754 vs. the rest of the league (including a 1.00 win percentage, 4-0, against the hapless Cowboys)

Stop your whining and acknowledge greatness while you're witnessing it, this dominance over 2 decades will never be duplicated.

horsebleep. who is the best QB the other AFC East teams have had in Brady's era?  Chad Pennington, Mark Sanchez, Jay Cutler?  QBs in the AFC East in the last decade or so have a been a complete shit show.

I'm just glad I don't have to hear another week of grown men bragging about the size of some other guy's dick.  Little fuckin weird, Philly!  I guess y'all moved on to a different kind of "snowball."

    No they’re not.
Well I guess you’re right, they always have next year to put up another 1-0 flag. Lol

Is there a big ceremony for the raising of the 1-1 flag today?
Apparently it was held in your mother's basement sometime Sunday morning.  Did you serve cookies?  :D

As always, New England fans rejoice in other's misery 100x more then they do their own victories.
My mother passed away 8 years ago, we held the ceremony at her graveside, thanks for playing.

  • I wonder if McDonald is going to make the trip to KC and watch his best friends?

I say this because they are best friends, but KC is cold and windy so his flopper flops about unless he has gizz strength gel (Something About Mary style)... and with the blood rushing to the surface of his skin to keep him warm... his orange skin turns to a shade of bright vermillion.

It's not a silly question. He avoided the Remembrance Day ceremony because it was raining (his make up would have run). Even though him and Tom are best friends (gawd they're best buddies)... I think he stays home: his really nice home on Pennsylvania Avenue given to him by the American people (he's also got tons of leftover hamberders from his big party too!).

the discussion doesn't have to do with Tom Brady's greatness. I think he is the greatest of all time even if i do think he is slimy individual.   it has to do with the shit show the AFC East has been for over a decade now.  one guy tried to argue the AFC East hasn't been as bad as portrayed.  The opposing QBs in the AFC East for a decade have been utter crap.  and that is as undisputable as Brady's greatness.

And the .754 winning percentage against the rest of the league...that's apparently all been against Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf I suppose?
that's not what I was disputing.  You commented that the AFC East hasn't been as bad as people think it was. want to answer my question on who has been the best QB in the AFC East the Pats have had to deal with in the past decade or so?
    Would it matter?

Wouldn’t a better comparison be the AFC east’s defensive rankings as that’s who’s out on the field when Brady is? Regardless, it’s not the Pats’ fault the rest of the division/conference/league sucks.

The AFC East has sucked, other than New England, for 20+ years. Who cares?

When the Eagles had run of 4 straight NFC Championships, the NFC East was absolute horse shit. Who cares? You can't control your schedule or who is in your division. You gotta beat those teams and then you have to beat the best teams in the league in the playoffs.

People only care when it comes to Brady and the Patriots.
Nobody made the same argument against Manning & the Colts or Montana and the 49ers (anyone remember how bad the Saints & Falcons were in those years?)
Since 2001 when Brady took over, The AFC East's other 3 teams have all had losing records in only 3 of the 18 seasons, 2007, 2012 & 2018. In each of those years the 2nd place team was 7-9. 2 other years (2011 & 2013) the second place team was 8-8.

In 8 of these years at least one team other than the Pats had double digit wins.

So the AFC East has not been as bad as some would like to portray it.
The Jets even went to 2 straight AFC title games under Sexy Rexy if you recall.
Have the Pats dominated the division...quite obviously, but its not like you've had three 4 win teams in the division annually.

Well the Rams were pretty good for most of that decade and the Saints had a few good teams in the late 80's. So it's not quite the same. But I also think people forget about those two Jets teams.

Mark Sanchez was their QB.  and he was possibly the best QB in the AFC East in the Brady Era.  'nuff said

Again, who cares? The NFC East was garbage in the early 2000's when the Eagles plowed through it. Who gives a shit? I don't think that diminishes what they did. Who was the second best qb in the division then? Kerry Collins? Quincy Carter? lol

So the Jets weren't a good team because of The Sanchize?
Were the '85 Bears not good because of the funky QB named McMahon?
Were the 2000 Stabby Lewis Ravens not a good team because of Trent Dilfer?
Were the 2002 Bucs not a good team because of 88 yr old Brad Johnson?

maybe it’s their arrogance; maybe it’s their no fun approach; maybe it’s their supremely condescending coach; maybe it’s their friendships with trump....I dunno.

I’ll give bellicheat his due....he is a great coach and mixes the pieces and parts and gameplan masterfully. with the golden boy, I don’t see “greatness.” while they can’t match his consistency, I see “greatness” is guys like favre, young, montana, elway, aikman, etc. tom just stands back there, seemingly never getting touched, and finds open guys.

    Jets were ok
McMahon was a good NFL QB
Ravens had an all-time historic defense.
Bucs were good in a season where no one was really great

    Aikman ahead of Brady?
    I've heard it all now.
All he does is finds open guys? What is a QB supposed to do?
First QB to throw 50 TDs in a season, first to win 5 Super Bowls, most career regular season wins by a good margin, 3rd all time TD passes (your boy Troy is #73 all time there), 4th all time pass yards (will be 2nd early next year) Most playoff wins by a QB (28, 2nd place has 16).

    But yeah Aikman's better.

Might want to check your numbers there Liz.
    100 career TD's
    90 career INT's.
Those Bears had the all time historic D, more so than the 2000 Stabbers.
