    I take some solace in the colts loss is that our GM is the one who helped put that KC team together.  Considering most paid pundits picked the colts to be the 32nd best team at the start of the season (and I had no reason to doubt their analysis), the season was no less than an outright success, especially after the 1-5 start.  That and we have about $120M is cap space next year.

    I'm not gonna say the Pats are where they are because of a shitty division. But holy shit it's comical how bad that division has been (for nearly a quarter of a century no less!)...and it certainly hasn't hurt them.

    winning the shitty AFC east doesn’t mean much. what is it for your boys? 10 in a row? 12 in a row? 8 byes in a row. part of this is me fucking with you but part of it is thinking it can be too easy to win a SB in some instances. this year the pats only needed to beat a warm weather jet lagged team at home and then a rookie QB (please, no :prayer: ) and, voila, back to the SB.

    every team in the NFC east has won the division since 2011. without looking it up, I think every NFC west team has taken the title somewhat recently. probably AFC south too(?). is it the pats fault their division sucks? no, but it sure has paved the way for them, year in and year out.

    If the NFC were so great, they’d have more SB victories since 2001. The pats alone have almost a third of them. Pats beat KC in week 6. And so what if it was at home. I like their chances while the cowpokes play golf.

    every team in the NFC east has won the division since 2011. without looking it up, I think every NFC west team has taken the title somewhat recently. probably AFC south too(?). is it the pats fault their division sucks? no, but it sure has paved the way for them, year in and year out.

    Look up some hard numbers on the AFC East and you'll see its not as bad as you think...Beefalo was a playoff team last year, Miami in 2016, Jets in 2009 & 2010 under Sexy Rexy. Nobody complained about the AFC South while Peyton was dominating for over a decade.


    And while you're at it look at Brady's win pct. vs. the division and vs. rest of league

    .794 vs. the AFC East and .754 vs. the rest of the league (including a 1.00 win percentage, 4-0, against the hapless Cowboys)


    Stop your whining and acknowledge greatness while you're witnessing it, this dominance over 2 decades will never be duplicated.
