    It's awful. My daughter has goddamn B's stickers all over her hockey helmet, her mom is a goddamn B's bimbo, and my daughter and her mite teammates are getting three minutes of fame to scrimmage on sloppy TD Garden ice in between periods next week. She's likely hooked after that.

    I need to get back to Brooklyn stat so that at least maybe my son won't become a fucking mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging Boston goon and learn classy Rangers traditions such as the "Potvin sucks!" chant, "#om@ Larry!" and interrupting the national anthem with "LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!"

    Of course, in NYC, I was running the risk of them becoming Yankees fans. Tough battles that we as parents have to choose.

    I'll say this: If either one of them ever even so much as mentions anything to do with the Celtics in a favorable light, they will from thenceforth be disowned.

    * And I'm not sure why Baldwin didn't secure the first down in the Jax game either- going out of bounds after a nine yard gain when he could have dived forward and gotten the first? There was lots of time. As it turns out... sack on the next play... and... gaaaaame over.

    That was some bush league nonsense by the Seahawks at the end of that game yesterday.  Michael Bennett is a complete piece of trash.  But that's pretty much what you should expect from a Pete Carroll team.

    So yah... the Pats looked very average to slightly below average last night.

    I've never seen so many sideline spazzouts which resulted in no changes.

    Their arrogance lost them that game. Miami is a shitty team. I can't help but feel the Pats had the Steelers on their mind and they looked past the Fins.

    With that said... they were really soft on defence. And their offence looked like they were playing underwater.

They purposely played soft so as not to tip their hand offensively or defensively to the Steelers, a much more important game with more tangible benefits to winning. Bill treated this game as a practice with pads. Why risk injuries and show your playbook for a meaningless game? They still go 12-4 and make the playoffs if they lose next week. And home field in the playoffs hasn't always been kind to them.

    You do realize the Pats are only 1 game up on the Jags? I haven't figured out any tie breakers but if the Pats lose to the Steelers they may lose the bye game now as well. I would say that is something very real to play for. 

    BTW, Garappolo has a 100% win percentage as a starter this season. Brady has a 77% win percentage. The Pats kept the wrong QB.

    Doesn’t concern me. Playoffs are a completely different set of games/season. Both the bye week and home field don’t do much for them. A combination of complacency and too much rest. Their play calling last night was ultra conservative and they played without a sense of urgency. And they lost by 7. Get totally blown out next week, I might have concerns. You know Bill’s already in Tomlin’s head.

    So Tom had a bad day in a stadium or against a team where he’s traditionally has a bad day. Those two picks were under thrown and pretty awesome defense plays were made as well. I just don’t think the Pats’ game in with a game plan and mindset to win 37-3. They’re saving it for next week. Remind me again what Tom’s TD to INT ratio is again, season and career. I said at the start of the season they’d go 12-4, hardly indicative of not admitting they can be beat or lose.

    You do realize the Pats are only 1 game up on the Jags? I haven't figured out any tie breakers but if the Pats lose to the Steelers they may lose the bye game now as well. I would say that is something very real to play for. 

    BTW, Garappolo has a 100% win percentage as a starter this season. Brady has a 77% win percentage. The Pats kept the wrong QB. 
    And this would make sense if Garappolo started 13 games but alas, he did not.

    Ahhh so Brady must have been throwing those picks on purpose last night then huh?  Funny how SOME Pats fans can't even entertain the notion that they just got beat.

    So Tom had a bad day in a stadium or against a team where he’s traditionally has a bad day. Those two picks were under thrown and pretty awesome defense plays were made as well. I just don’t think the Pats’ game in with a game plan and mindset to win 37-3. They’re saving it for next week. Remind me again what Tom’s TD to INT ratio is again, season and career. I said at the start of the season they’d go 12-4, hardly indicative of not admitting they can be beat or lose.
    Just feel obligated to point out that Rodgers has a much better TD-INT ratio.

    Not even close really, 4.13 to 3.06. Hey though, Brady was 1/53rd of 5 super bowl teams!
