Tony Romo is retiring. Probably a smart move instead of playing for the Texans and having his carcass dragged off the field in week 7. Time to go golfing.

I think it's a smart move by him. How much more can his body take? hang it up and go work in TV.

If Romo goes to CBS and replaces Phil Simms he should be declared a national hero.

A guy with a total of 2 career playoff wins gets the #1 slot?

Romo is now the number one guy at CBS.
Aikman is the number one guy at Fox.
Johnston is the number two guy at Fox.
Jimmy Johnson on the Fox pregame show.
Deion Sanders/Michael Irvin on the NFL network pregame/postgame shows

    Yuck.

    Yuck.
Aikman and Johnston are really good commentators. all the national pre-game shows suck so I don't bother watching them anyway so I could care less who they have on those shows.

Theory is that Phil Simms waving a fart at Jim Nantz in a January playoff game was him signing his own death warrant. I hope this is true

    Good riddance.

He began to realize what an idiot he was and couldn't live with the fact he was such an idiot: "Holy shit. I'm one of the biggest idiots in the world."

At least he figured out he was an idiot.

    What an idiot.

In the eyes of the state of Massachusetts, former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez died an innocent man, thanks to an archaic legal principle called “abatement ab initio,” said Martin W. Healy, chief legal counsel to the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Aaron Hernendaz is a innocent man and Tom is guilty of deflating footballs. SAD!

    What a country.

To be fair to Trump...he did get one more Lombardi Trophy to show up today than Obama did two years ago.

I think they made good moves. 3 first round picks this year and now they hold 2 for next year. Hopefully Peppers can avoid "diluted" urine samples.

  • I loved what the 49ers did. Picked up some options in a swap that cost them nothing with Da Bears and took DE.
Used one of those picks to move back up into the back of the 1st round and take a stud LB.
They are still going to be shitty, but that was good use of draft picks on day 1 I think. (Never really know until the guys play in the league)

The Bears could be the next Cleveland Browns. I can foresee them drafting another QB with the first pick in next year's draft.
