Last game of week 17. Mixed feelings because the season is over, which is sad, but it's also the most exciting time of the year with the playoffs starting next week. The wildcard round is best.

  • Mike Wallace continues his campaign to be the most loathsome football player on the planet:

I know none of you will click that cause nobody gives a shit about the Dolphins. Long story short: he asked out of the game after Charles Clay caught a late 2nd quarter TD. Yep, not being targeted, and his teammate catching a TD pissed him off enough that he took himself out of the game. Pathetic.

Well he's definitely one of them. Just like his predecessor Brandon Marshall.

Glad the Steelers gave Brown the money and not Wallace. AB went out and had a fantastic year after getting the big contract.

Apparently the 49ers dream for the good ol' days of the Mike Nolan era ....

Hey, rumor is the Rex Ryan might be available soon.

Harbaugh' winning percentage of 76% is only second to George Seifert's 76.6% win percentage ... and Seifert had the Tecmo Bowl All-Star team at his disposal!

Yeah a weird day for a guy who fucking hated Harbaugh when he was hired and who still thinks he is an asshole but loved the turn around the team made under his coaching....I got to go to a super bowl (lifelong dream realized!) and even though we lost it was still an amazingly good time. I am sure that there will be a drop off on games won over the next 4 years and I look forward to seeing who they hire to replace. Can they get Fangio to stay even though he is a JH buddy? The D and the running game needs to be the focal point and I think they can be good again next year. Thanks for the memories Harbaugh...now I can go back to full-on-hatred as a USC alum and that awful experience you gave me delivering a 40+ point underdog upset to my beloved Trojans. Most shocked I have ever been walking out of a stadium. Fuck you. What's Your Deal now? I hope we can play UM sometime down the road.

Bears, Jets, Falcons firings are all pretty much as expected, right?
If the Niners hire any of those guys as a Head Coach it will be very disappointing.

I wonder if the Raiders will go all-in and give Harbaugh an offer he can't refuse?

I remember when they made it to the super bowl against the Pats. Everyone thought it would be a shit game and that th ratings would suffer. Ended up being a very good game. Plus everyone got to see Janet Jackson's nipple!

Hopefully not, apparently UM has a noon press conference tomorrow.

lol, was that the one? I don't doubt any team can bring it come playoff time, but it wouldn't seem right if a below .500 team won the SB. Guess there's not much they can do about it. You win your division, even if it's a lousy division, you make the playoffs. Then anything is possible.

Shit, only 7 teams open with better odds than the Panthers. I would take them over a number of other teams if I couldnt pick Seattle, GB or NE.
Cowboys & Steelers are just crazy fucking odds. Shows how popular those two teams are...
