My gawd are the Colts terrible.

Sorry, but the Stanford playbook and predictable play calling is terrible.

    Defence is soft.

How did they beat Seattle and Denver?
The loss of Reggie Wayne has been devastating. He took a lot of pressure of the other receivers and the offensive line.

I would not count them out. They could still pull a Flaco.

Injuries are part of the game. The good teams adapt and move forward. I don't like them, but look how New England dealt with all their injuries: Gronk is easily as important to their offence as Wayne is to Indy's. Throw in the loss of Hernandez and Amendola and Vereen at the same time... and that is a scenario that might pose a problem for a team.

Although GBay is currently struggling... they remained competitive losing Aaron Rogers and Cobb, Jones, and Finley.

As for Wayne, he might have taken some pressure of the other receivers, but outside of being a reliable 'hot' receiver... I'm not sure how he takes pressure of the offensive line. The line reminds me of a group of weaklings continually getting their asses kicked by bigger, tougher, and more athletic opponents.

They are over-matched weekly- starting with the coaching staff and their lack of innovative play calling.

Small things that add up such as being able to send more blitz packages and use single coverage when a D-coordinater knows there is a 50/50 chance that a pass will be dropped by Heyward-Bey even if he is wide open and the pass hits him right smack between the numbers on his jersey.

  • So after starting 9-0 the Chiefs drop 3 straight.

They don't need to worry, though; they play the Redskins next week, lol

  • I saw a report on the news last night that said the crowd in Seattle on Monday night was so loud that the ground shook. It actually measured as a 1 to 2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale. The loudness level reached 137 decibels, which is louder than a jet engine. Another 10 dB and eardrums start to rupture.

If Seattle gets home field advantage throughout the playoffs, they are going to be extremely hard to beat.

He might just have the worst hands in the NFL. He should have been a defensive back.

Wow. The Texans are officially the worst team in the NFL.

And the Rams are no longer kicking themselves for the RG3 trade.

I need to start laying money on Super Bowl long shots next year. :geek:

This might make me have bad hands!

And Jason... I agree... the Texans are terrible. This was a team that was ascending last year and man... have they plummeted.

  • Looks like Carolina is looking like the team we all know them to be. I won't bash the defense. Its hard to slow down Brees. But the offense doesn't look good at all. They really need someone other than Cam that can run the ball. A good receiver wouldnt hurt either.

very true. their defense can definitely take them to the super bowl. the offense could get them eliminated in the second round.
  • The Panthers aren't going anywhere. I still say the Saints can go all the way though. Probably vs Denver!

If Seattle wins the conference good luck to any NFC team going through Seattle.

Goodell needs to add the football version of the Washington Generals to the division next year ....

Crazy, crazy, crazy bad call by the refs giving Cincy that touchdown on the replay. I still think Cincy would have one regardless but the officiating this year has been flat-out crazy bad league-wide. It's not much better then the scab-refs did.

Newton is starting to remind me more of Vick except he can take a hit. Too many peaks and valleys.

I heard this morning there have been 40 or so season ending knee injuries this year alone. This has to be a result of the NFL wanting to protect heads, no? Defense going low instead of high.

    I'd bet it's close to 50/50 on contact v. non-contact knee injuries.

    This is what I think.

And if it is not them... it's the Niners.

Power football teams that are too physical for teams like the Saints.
