I recently read a book about Cash called A Heartbeat and a Guitar: The Making of Bitter Tears. Inspired me to pick up a copy of his great and under-recognized LP, Bitter Tears. Great stuff!
Cool, That documentary The Gift that Mike McCready did the music score for was excellent!! Start to finish. Made me weep for joy a few times. And Mike's work on it was absolutely fabulous. https://youtu.be/5cMVNtmbwyo

She has a lovely voice, first time hearing that wonderful song.
I miss the live crowd at rock concerts. This video made me REALLY miss crowd reactions/energy during the shows. It really plays out during this song....
*We CAN bomb the World to pieces, but we CAN'T bomb it into PEACE*...Michael Franti
*MUSIC IS the expression of EMOTION.....and that POLITICS IS merely the DECOY of PERCEPTION*
.....song_Music & Politics....Michael Franti
*The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite INSANE*....Nikola Tesla(a man who shaped our world of electricity with his futuristic inventions)

No worries of covid-19, they don't know what that is, nor do they care. They care about eating grass together on a nice spring day. They trust each other and they trust me. Politics do not concern them. They are friends never more than 20 yards apart. How awesome is that?
Lets burn one and drink to that. Cheers! To a little Shakedown Street Alpine Valley https://youtu.be/h-Qho7rIh7g Dont know why, but I love the Grateful Dead on Sundays!! And yes I was at this one a few years ago as good as it gets.

Anybody out there miss dancing at a party? For whatever reason this song popped in my head when back in school we would mix this to no end at parties. The song is probably 40 years old......

As is radiohead Ed O'Brien ... who knew that a member of radiohead could make a solo album composed of actual music! And surprisingly sounds more like radiohead than radiohead these days. It's worth checking out. The album name is Earth.

I shouldn't show this to you, b'cuz it will make it harder for me to get a ticket in the future. But oh boy this guy is the real deal. 24 years old his music sounds like it's 200 years old. Brother Colter Wall. A pure talent like this don't come around to damn often. https://youtu.be/mMNll5SEgd0 Bob Fudge https://youtu.be/iA4z743VQiM This is one hell of a song.
A nice mellow tune to go with your French roast brianlux, and hendo. Hope your doing ok out there in Cali. An apropos song for the times in which we live, because we've got to have fast horses and good hideouts. Cheers!! https://youtu.be/4srlZTbDtQY And Denim & Diamonds have a good day. https://youtu.be/30Egi3Cg5Co
Hey, I had my music on shuffle while I was digging post holes for my new deck that I'm building, cuz I couldn't decide what to listen to and then this song pooped up. I had to stop what I was doing, and ask myself what the heck is this? Catchy rhythm great drums echoey female voices and some soaring guitar. I lhad to stop what I was doing pick up my phone look at it!! And I'll be damned if it isnt Fleetwood Mac. A tune I must have heard at some point but missed. Tip one back, and or light one up and enjoy the ride. https://youtu.be/8Dxo0mqEfPY
One more for good luck Illume 9-11 https://youtu.be/G6UPZ3YuNdI PS the tour in support of this album was going on at the same time Riot Act was in Vogue. I remember in 2003 being at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul Minnesota, for Pearl Jam & and the advertisements at the venue for upcoming events showed Fleetwood Mac ?--?-03. Crazy how time flies
It's so funny...live with a person for almost 20 years, and we can be on such different wavelengths at times (fortunately, we're mostly in-sync on the big-ticket issues). So I'm working out, deep in music, good shit, old stuff. Sunday morning goodness.
Done, earbuds out. My guy's cranking the antithesis - Manson
Not that I don't dig him, but time and place, man!

LOL, Sounds familiar. It's Sunday morning and I'm carrying on about how I just ordered Off! by Off! (Keith Morris's band) and she's wanting to hear some classical music. Well, hey, Off! is classical punk!

Another few chores and it will be time to kick back, enjoy a cold beverage, and read the paper.

https://youtu.be/WX2JzYFia_Q So this is where we are a Topsy Turvy World. I like Hedonsit. But I pissed her off, let me be clear, so it is not about how many shows I've been to, but I was called a troll by another dude here, I was just stating that I have been a pearl jam fan for as long as I can remember I'm not a bot or a troll. But I refuse to be a Pearl Jam disciple and just do and think what told. Called Instagator by Hedonst,, and a Hick by another dude because of the music I flood the lounge car with as he put it. Nice place here.? I don't know? I drive a semi truck deemed essential supplies. My wife is a nurse at a nursing home (front lines wouldn't you say?)where the virus ran amok and they lost a few.) Yes we were all tested my wife and myself and my kids all got corona virus, all A-Symtomatic. Quarantined ourselves for a few weeks. I guess when one speaks his or her mind he or she must be mindful that in these times in which we live, 2+2=5 and you better not question it. Good Day Hedonist!

This is one hell of a song.
Thinking about the last few months, the last weeks - so much uncertainty and grieving and outrage. And then some.
But in the now, all is calm and all is okay.
Lady sang the blues and then some.
