I'm in a pretty nice Gallagher mood today while I'm still sitting at home bored with my broken left wing.

Very nice Kce8, The lounge car is rolling once again.  Or maybe it's the Caboose. ;)
I'll have the same thing you're having thanks.
It's about 8 hours difference between here and Germany,  so probably 4:20 in the morning over there, but I'm just starting .  Next tune is called Jameson by The White Buffalo and yes it's about Jameson.
    Cheers!

Thanks for keep this car warmed up, folks.  Woe unto me should I abandon it!

    Thank you RYME.

And coffee it is this fine AM.  Hot steaming French roast, black.  Clouds on the horizon heading this way with much needed rain.  Life is good!

    Hey Brian!
    Happy New Year!
We got a bit of snow the last days but now it's raining awfully all the time. Ewww…
    lol

4 week anniversary for my broken arm at that Clutch gig today - that's why they are on top of my playlist now. =)

A broken arm at a gig? Ouch!  Slam dancing in the mosh pit, eh?  lol
Happy New Year to you as well, kce!

Here's one to warm you up on this wintry day:

Me in a mosh pit? Em.. naa haha...  ;)

Stumbled after arriving outside at the venue. Had no idea it was broken, well it hurts (I thought) if you are in a rush and then go flying. But I made it through the gig at first row. I'm glad I made it till the end. Only the guys might were wondering why I never clapped...
They had two bands to open up for them so they finished late at midnight. My friend brought me to the hospital at 1 am on our way home. Definitely one gig to remember!

I bought a Ramones button at the Ramones museum in Berlin last summer. It's still in my wallet between the coins, making me smile every time I use my money!

Watch this whole thing the whole thing is really, really, good trust me.  Put it on a Bluetooth speaker or a better speaker than your phone have a few drinks and a few smokes while you're watching this and you'll feel like you were there.  This guy is the real deal.  This group would fit nicely into any era of music.  Old school Country> alternative rock> reggae.

Apparently I'm A PC Fascist (Because I care about both human and non-human animals)

    Propagandhi

Some of my otherwise brilliant and productive friends
    Take final refuge in
    Character assassinations;
They ignore the issue and deny the relation between
    Our consumption and brutality

So you can go ahead and roll your eyes and marginalize me
    Play on my insecurities
    And you can feign ignorance
But you’re not stupid, you’re just selfish
And you’re a slave to your impulse

And I kinda thought we all shared common threads
In that we gravitated here to challenge the conventions we’ve been fed
By cultures that treat creatures like machines
And if you buy that shit then how long till it’s me
    Who serves as your commodity?

Through , institutionalized violence and oppression of workers
    And women raped by sexism
Do you still insist on feigning indignance to reason?
    To collective self-interest?

I’ll call you on your shit, please call me on mine
Then we can grow together and make this shit-hole planet better in time

    Consider someone else...

Pure awesomeness.  Neil Young and POTR
    Farm Aid 2017
    https://youtu.be/-givxtsUqos
    & Lukas & POTR
    All The Pretty Horses
THIS ONE IS UNBELIEVABLE!!  IT'S two parts & it starts off like a an acoustic mellow song and then there's a delay, you will think the song is over, BUT IT'S NOT!
there is no noise for like 30 seconds, and AND then the 2nd half takes the song to a totally different place,,,!!!!
IT'S A NATIVE TRIBAL CHANT & RANT/ROCKER/JAM MAN!! There is no good way to describe it.
MAKE SURE TO PLAY THESE WITH GOOD SPEAKERS!!  Give Pretty Horses a shot and have a shot and a puff and you will feel great.  Lukas Nelson just turned 30.  The future of good passionate enthused music is in good hands.
And what's great about this whole thing is that Neil Young coached and help Pearl Jam hone their craft teach them how to be a band and a dignified band when the pressure was mounting early in the  career, obviously with Mirror Ball & Merkin Ball.  And he did it again for Lukas and his band.  What a great great guy Neil Young is to help young bands find their way in an otherwise pressure-packed Trainwreck world.
I challenge you to Listen to this one All the Pretty Horses front to back and you will be AMAIZED to the highest degree.
When I first heard this I thought it was two different tracks ( two different songs, but it's one track.)  (Nevermind the silly flowers image)  Play this and enjoy the whole thing.

    Cheers, RYME!

I've been listening mostly to the chirping, whistles, bird calls and such that make up the tinnitus in my ears while I catch up on all my paperwork, that nasty little business of numbers and ledgers and such that are essential to keeping ones business afloat.  Not my favorite part of doing business but then not as bad as lugging boxes of books with a sore back.  Tonight, it will be something to mellow my mind and a few sides of this great album:

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
