No static, no static at all.....

    .....FM.

Still mourning his loss all these years later. Such beauty.

Also still celebrating his life and glorious voice.

We don't take pictures at concerts, so it isn't represented in the album, but we saw Greenville and Columbia as part of the vacation as well!

I'll always hold Freddie head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else when it comes to talent and voice.

rr, I remember Kirshner's show! And Midnight Special too - even went to one of their tapings when I was around 13...Nick Gilder!

Thanks! It's not getting back to nature for me though, I live with my hands in the dirt and my head in the leaves. It's more like getting back to childhood, when wonders abound and everything is fresh, shiny, and glorious beyond description.

I'm also of the pre-mtv era of music on TV. I'd stay up late to catch whatever videos I could, and would watch American Bandstand on the weekends.

Are you in the crowd here, Hedo?

If anything could distract from the monstrosity that is the drummer's puffy shirt, it's Jimi =)

    When men wore blouses, LOL!

According to Leon Hendrix (in his fine book, Jimi Hendrix, A Brother's Story), later in his life, most of Jimi's clothes were purchased from women's clothing stores. Gotta love it!

    Not blouses, white puffy shirts.

No major hang over- just bummed and sad about seeing that accident yesterday. Off to work, keeping busy.

    Have a safe day all.

Been too damn long since Dave Mason was in my musical periphery, but driving to work, heard this one.

    Perfect-o.

Shouldn't have took more than you gave
Then we wouldn't be in this mess today
I know we've all got different ways
But the dues we've got to pay are still the same
Just trying to change the script for this old play
You're reading and not feelin' what you say
Comin' on too strong for me to stay
Interpret what you see in any way
Seems the simple things are hardest to explain
Winter's gonna come too soon, and deaden all the pain
Footprints in the snow will show where the things are still the same
Till you get warmth of the sun of someone [to] help to live again
Shouldn't have took more than you gave
