“Life is life everywhere. Life is in ourselves and not outside us. There will be men beside me, and the important thing is to be a man among men and to remain a man always, whatever the misfortunes, not to despair and not to fall - that is the aim of life, that is its purpose.”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
no shit. probably one of those guys that leaves the show like if i ever hear even flow im never coming to see pearl jam again, then there they are again first row at the next show.

I'm not being a dick, but 28-30 has become status quo and take into account they finished 10 minutes early...though that said, Toronto got a short setlist in 2006 to start things off
Yup, WYA is what I'm waiting for I got Education at Lolla so I'm confident I'll hear WYA at at least one of the shows I'll be at.
2006: Boston I, Camden II
2007: Chicago
2008: Hartford, Mansfield I & II, EV Boston
2009: Philly III & IV
2010: Boston
2011: PJ20
2012: Philly
2013: Worcester I & II, Brooklyn I & II
Looked like a good opening set. Glorified G, Grievance,Why Go.... However no Corduroy,Go,Last Exit and Marker in the Sand, otherwise known as the 4 best live songs in the catalogue.
Are you kidding me? Wheteher or not it was your 'thing', how can you argue with 'Oceans' as an opener, 'Sad', 'Faithful', 'Who you are'(it's been TEN years!),'low light', 'glorified g', 'why go', and 'no more'?? This was a GREAT setlist!
after EV solo, yeah, i'm done with No More (and woe to the crowd that hesitates to sing along, for the Eddie's wrath shall be unleashed upon the young republicans the next night!) will be interesting how political he/they get in an election year (i tuned out for the drive home, haven't read all 38 pages!)
hafta kinda sort agree, very wickedly strong start and kinda peters out for the encores, but shazam! Tom Waits cover! Lil nod to the man goin on tour next week!
And Billy Bragg is goin on at the SF Filmore oh in about an hour, I should really go.... Dang dang dang....

yeah i know but still compared to most bands dude 25 is a killer length.

They've played only a small handful of 30-song sets in their day. You're overestimating the length of their typical setlists.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
and to all these complainers.. wouldya pipe down please? i mean, gee whiz, here you have a band, arguably the best ever, playing their first show in a year, playing for over two hours, mixing in the who you are scenario, and its not enough. i mean come on. no other band out there today is a patch on the fanny of pearl jam, and here you are, complaining that they played even flow instead of aye davanita. pipe down, would ya? terrible job outta you.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
I haven't been posting, but have been looking in all night. How about Who You Are! And a personal favorite, "Faithfull".
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MSG!!
Thanks, Justam, for relaying the setlist.

'tis true. Toronto I got 24 songs to kick off the 2006 tour.
yeah i know but still compared to most bands dude 25 is a killer length.
but when a band has been around for 15+ years you don't compare them to other bands, you compare them to what is normal for them. I'm not complaining because I don't really give a shit b/c I didn't go, but I just hope this isn't a trend (finishing early)
