Once again: like most of us, i had tickets in my cart like 3 times. Once i got to the checkout it wouldnt let me pay, it said i had an emty cart. I had 2 items in there! First it crashed, then they expired.
I would like my 10c PJ tickets for some Euro shows, just like everyone else, please.
No communication from 10c is not really helping. Shoudla been on top of this LAST NIGHT!
Same issue for me, had all 3 shows I want to go to in cart, Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen but at checkout my cart was empty but there was 3 tickets in it and time left. Change strategy and put 1 ticket in and had 3-4 non working checkout after that....
Got a standing GA ticket for Oslo from Livenation pre-sale today, all I got so far.

Given that the discussion is already raging elsewhere on the board, I actually find it a little rude to expect people to repeat themselves on a separate thread. The posting of this thread in and of itself is somewhat of an empty gesture. Chipping in and conversing on the existing threads seems like a far better way to appease the complaining parties. But then, that would require effort on TC's part.
Agreed. If you wanted us to all post in one place, you could have easily done this LAST NIGHT. This just seems like another cover up -- bye bye posts! With all due respect, I really wish the band knew how shabbily its fans are being treated by its own organization.

Living in Houston generally excludes me from this ticket process, but seeing all of this mess AGAIN just further drives home the point most people are trying to make - communication must improve. Stuff happens, plans get derailed, servers crash and deep down I don't think anyone truly believes the 10c is purposefully trying to screw anyone. But when things go wrong, keep your loyal, paying fans in the know. We pay for that right. Fix the system, for sure. But in the meantime, communicate! A day later and the only communication is a vague 1 line blurb pinned on CrowdSurge? Not cool. I imagine the 10c is just as stressed as the ticket buyers and want to fix this, but at least pass on some information on a regular basis.
This can be applied to anything. I had some serious questions about the delays in some Ed solo merch, and a simple update would have been all I needed to feel ok about the situation. Same with tickets. At the very least, communicate. I think we've earned (paid for) that.

Many fans have started buying tickets from local pre-sales.
As most of these shows is GA, could it be a solution to provide members access to Early-entry wristbands ?
A ten club-only gig in London ( Cheap flights from most countries) also would be appreciated.

1. Spread the ticketsales for the different show, for e.g. "Amsterdam will be on sale at 1 pm, Berlin 2 hours later" etc.
I remember that in 2010, I think, when I was still buying (for example, can't remember the specifics) Dublin tickets, the presale for Belfast kicked in and it was still a bit of a mess. Only way to do it is to have it on different days, of course this would work out more expensive though.
Rather than duplicating what's already been discussed, the problems that people have already raised, I think that thread should be taken into consideration in conjunction with this one.

I will get tickets for Manchester one way or another but I should know before any sale what my chances are. I don't believe in lottery systems and if there has to be a fanclub pre-sale stop pretending you have solutions and leave it to the professionals. I had a laugh at the bit in the PJ20 where the fan spoke about taking on TM and how they could have lost. PJ were crushed by their highly paid lawyers and now that they tour TM venues again they need to go cap in hand and let them handle all ticket sales because the last five years of EV and PJ pre-sales has been nothing but a joke. I think much of the PJ20 celebration has been overshadowed by this any many other issues. If Tim worked for any other organization he would be searching for a job today. 10c needs to stop hiding behind the curtains and tell the truth in an apologetic manner every time the shit hits the fan instead of bravely locking threads where people come to vent and use their right to freedom of speech. See you in Manchester. Have a nice day and happy PJ20....

While we are on the subject, anyone aware of pre-sales going on right now? I saw something about pre-sales for Stcokholm and Manchester?
Anyone have details about these or other pre-sales; or is it the case that if I don't know then I can't participate in them?
Many thanks.
This was a live-nation member (free membership) pre-sale wit a little numbers of tickets, it lasted for 5 min for Oslo and about 10 min for Stockholm.

No apology, no formal statemnt. Nothing. I am very disappointed and sad.
2. Limit it to 1 show per fanclub member for the first 12/24 hours. After that open up for everyone for the rest of the tickets.
3. Have priority for regions of the show. People from finland and sweden for example maybe should have more of a chance or tix for the Stockholm show than lets say... people from canada, USa, spain etc etc.
But 1 & 2 I think would be good.

I have not had this "cart empty", it would have was good too for my I think ... I had my four shows in my cart, and many times!
I would just love to know what to expect. I have to leave for work in about an hour and will only have sporadic internet access. Will there be a message regarding the process anytime soon? Will this be just a heads up or will I have to be ready to take whatever steps immediately?
I think the Problems most of us had have been discussed enough so I'll keep my experiences brief. Had the site crash on me all the time and had my cart show up empty though I should've had plenty of time left.
Please don't start another frenzy by sending out mails requiring immediate action. And if there is going to be another attempt at a presale, please don't put up all the shows at once. Thanks!
My experience: I was called into a meeting 10 minutes prior to the sale but was out 5 minutes after. I then sat at my computer for three hours (it had taken longer in 07 and for PJ20 so I was kinda prepared but hopeful things would be better) which is two and half hours after I could have left work but not wanting to risk them selling out while I was commuting home (takes over an hour) ... during this time I didn't see even 1 add to cart icon. I just saw the 'we are experiencing problems screen' and would occassionally go to a white screen with 'Connection Error' ... a black screen with a white line across it ... see the gig list ... or twice my session timed out.
Called Crowdsurge 1 1/2 hours in and was told to keep trying things should get better in 40 minutes or so.
When the pre-sale was taken offline ... woohoo! I could go home and get some dinner ... the 'return to members shortly' meant those of us in Europe were unsure whether we could go to bed. It would have been nice if 10c or crowdsurge (I'm not picky!) had sent an e-mail or put a message here or on the crowdsurge link to say nothing more will be happening until tomorrow.
Communication is key
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Ticketmaster works. 10C pre-sales don't. Have a 10C pre-sale but leave pro's to do it. That CrowdSurge couldn't cope with 3000 people last night is laughable.
10C knew the expected demand last night. They know this everytime. And it always fucks up. It shouldn't even matter if the tickets for different venues go on sale at the time. Every Friday, the likes of Ticketmaster and Live Nation deal with alot more than 3000 people for multiple events & artists and cope just fine.

The title of this thread is slightly off. It should be "Communication Issues", not "Ticketing Issues".
I have no problem with the site crashing. However, I would like to know what is going to happen, when and how. I understand it takes time to figure this out. Therefore, all I really want to know is when to check back for the next update.
For example:
"Check back at 9am CET for the next update"
"We still don't know anything/Technical issues persist/Unicorns are dancing in the clouds/Whatever you would like to put here will most likely do. Check back at 12pm CET for the next update"
That way, at least, we can all get on with our lives for a few hours instead of checking 3 or 4 websites and/or our email every 1-10 minutes in case there is news.
Thanks.

Putting 6 shows on at once is a recipe for disaster.
Imagine how bad it would have been if Pearl Jam toured like a real band does!! Six shows, oh no!!
