Great Shot...
I see from your sig & the ear X-tacy sticker that you're from Louisville!!!
I was born and raised there... that's why my user name is derbydave!!
Saw somewhere, might've been from MMJ website, that ear X-tacy was closing
That was a sad day for me,
as I spent HOURS there shopping for bargains back in the day!!!
Still make it down to the 'VIlle for holidays, family events, and especially for the DERBY!!!
Would love to see PJ play at the new YUM! Arena on the next tour :ugeek:'96: Seattle: Key Arena

i think we'll take a packing break & go play frisbee wars. i'll throw the orange fixer vinyl (or maybe the blue...hmmm..) and my wife will use the white Backspacer.
wish me luck!
Here's a tip, scuff them a bit with sand paper for a more controlled grip.
that's a great idea!!! thanks, man. the wife won't ever know.
i won, by the way. the white backspacer is now stuck in a tree.I LOVE MUSIC.

GR8Dane wrote:It seems to me that the cover of the album on the white BS is a flat black, while the black version has a little more gloss, or shine to it.... Just the black, on the front and back of the album.
thank you for replying, I am going to check that, though I put them together but I haven't found any difference between them, they shone the same way...jbrownie wrote:They're both OOP, right?
The black Backspacer is not sold out, you can get it at the goods section... the point for acquiring a white backspacer is more than number of tracks or if it sounds the same or not, and everyone who got will have a different reason for buying it...... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...0 -

I've seen others say that and that's how it is for mine.
If that's true, this thread's filled with a ton of BS (pun!) and no factual, common sense.
neither my white nor black has a upc code...why not a sticker labeling it white.
Maybe a sticker on the Black ones saying:
"'Not to be confused with more expensive white vinyl version"0 -

1. Remove record from jacket.
2. Pour one glass of milk and one glass of Guinness
3. If the hue of your record appears closer to the milk, then you have a white Backspacer!0 -

This is being forced by the bands merchandizing practices. You can have limited merchandize by having a presale or at least a date and time time the merchandise goes on sale.
Now for the concerts...people do realize that price charged has more than doubled since 2005 but it's about as plain as any concert you'll get and the tours are more like greatest hits tours and only in the markets they want to go to.
As for all the planing that went into pj20...no 1 thought of investing in HD screens for and placing them in various locations for people farther back.
It's just constructive feedback...too bad the band didn't look to the fans for feedback...and all they've done involved the green.
What Metallica did this last week was for the fans, U2 360 tour $30 seats was for the fans, Paul McCartney $35 seats was for the fans, I believe Springsteen's last tour had discounted tickets, Petty has toured with discounted tickets.
its not the merch or the band or the 10Club - its the douches that flip stuff. For most of us, they're collectibles; for others its stuff to sell. Simple. I keep all my jawn, but now i'm willing to trade this for PJ20 Vinyl b/c i have black backspacer and white means nothing to me except its value and as a collectible.2005: Borgata 2, Philly

They should have numbered the LP's for the white vinyl. I have Tom Petty's Red vinyl version of Damn the Torpedos which is numbered so you know you got the red vinyl version vs the black. I don't have to open it. Buying or trading for the the backspacer white vinyl would force me to open it to confirm it is white.0
