Great news about the tour :) I am spending 2012 travelling and will be in Europe during their summer and this tour was icing on the cake!

Planning Manchester and Amsterdam. May look at the festivals at a later date.

Just so I got it right, 9am PST on the 13th of December is 4am on Wednesday the 14th in Melbourne (EDT). Seems right to me, anyone disagree?

same here!! so glad I picked 2012 as my travelling year :D I am trying for the Manchester show... and I worked it out to be 4am as well
  • Wonderful news! I'm gonna attend the Manchester show, for sure.

I have a doubt, I don't know if someone here can help me... It's gonna be the first time that I will buy a ticket as a Ten Club member (the only Pearl Jam show I've been to, in 2005, I wasn't a member yet). I read that I can buy a pair of tickets, right? But can I buy this second ticket for a person who isn't a Ten Club member? I mean, my wife isn't a member, but if I buy the two tickets, will she be able to go with me, get in earlier and everything else?

And one more thing: in the e-mail, they say: "Ten Club will hold an Early Entry for all standing floor fan club pre-sale ticket holders. One pair of Early Entry wristbands will be distributed per standing ticket pair at will call."

I didn't get this "will call"... is this the same thing as the box office collection of the tickets? Should I get there much earlier, or just being there at the time that Ten Club members can get in should be fine?

(Well, maybe it's too early to ask things like these, but I appreciate if some Pearl Jam gig specialist could ease my soul :) )

Will call is the place where you go to collect your tickets at the venue. The tickets will not be sent to you or emailed to you, rather you yourself (and ONLY you - or the person who purchased the tickets and is the 10C member) must be there with your ID to pick them up. Whoever the second ticket goes to is totally your choice, it doesn't have to be a 10C member.

Obviously if you want the best chance of being as close as possible you should get there as early as possible. But I think you will still get a decent place to stand if you go in early with the other 10clubbers. Hope this helps :-)

  • Stockholm!
I'm a really long-time fan, but this will be my first live show. I live in Finland and have never been able to travel to see the band yet, for money reasons, family reasons or work reasons, but this time I will make it happen. It's an affordable overnight ferry-ride from Helsinki, and I'll probably travel with a bunch of good friends. Hubby has already promised to take care of the kids. So excited words can't describe it. :D

Yes, your wife can be the holder of your 2nd ticket. So she can go :)

Ah excellent! It was perfect timing really. What's your plan? I've pretty much packed it in here (Melbourne) to spend next year travelling (Asia, Europe, US/Canada).

I was a bit worried since Oz sets to get every third year 03, 06, 09... 2012! But now even if Oz does get a tour I don't miss out. Can't wait for it.

I live in Texas and I'm going for sure...just trying to decide which 2 shows to go to. I'm thinking Manchester and Amsterdam my PJ Travel Buddies want Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Any suggestions?

Either way, 10c Meet ups in appropriate cities are a MUST! I met SA fans this summer and can't wait to meet the rowdy European fans :D

compromise and to amsterdam, berlin, sweden, norway and demark ;)

 Good call, only problem is my bank account would not be happy with me...
  • MEN again, and Isle Wight. Will be my third and fourth shows... Hyde park last year and MEN before that blew my mind. First and only band i have seen live and thats the way i intend to keep it... well for the time being that is.
  • Ellyn27 and Invest-it-all: thank you very much for the answers!

I work in Melbourne, but live in Geelong..I think that means I have it worse? So keen to leave hahaha

Next year is all about Europe. I'm heading over in June and touring around as much as my money gets me, then visiting egypt for about a week as well. Then thinking about getting a job...possibly coming back home for xmas/PJ tour,..then going back haha.I'm not making set plans, just making it up as I go :)
  • This will be my first time buying tix as a 10C member as well.
    I'm a bit confused...

Are we, as members, guaranteed a pair of tickets as long as we login on the sale date and enter our code?

Like, this isn't going to be a mad dash to get just a few tickets on an online system...?

Back in the day when buying phish summer tour tickets it was like this.
50,000 kids logging in at the same time to ticketmaster's site to try and get tickets.

    Am I making sense?

No def not guaranteed. These 10 Club tickets will sell out FAST. So be prepared haha
  • yeah... well, I'm shooting for Amsterdam, so we will see.

Very cool. Why would you want to leave Geelong? I heard you guys got electricity last year, just wait till you get colour tv, that will light up the night sky like nothing else.

Egypt looks good, do you scuba dive?

If Xmas did coincide with a tour here in Oz, that would just be unreal!

I get to Europe early May after 3.5 months in Asia. Will get the lowdown (places to watch the footy and get a beer; not sure if they do that there?!).

haha whatever! you should come down here, its like a trip back in time! Nah I don't scuba dive. So looking forward to Egypt though. Everyone keeps telling me to dye my hair dark and find a fake husband though, but I should be alright. I'm going with a big group. What are you doing in Asia that long, working? And yep definitely need to find a good local to watch footy, need to keep watching the Cats dominate ;)

I actually went to Geelong, went to a game at Skilled (part of the leaving Melb bucket list). It was the one you guys lost to Sydney so it was kinda fun!

No working in Asia, just backpacking through Asia. Doing a few tours (Everest Base Camp, Vietnam) then getting the train from Beijing to St Petersburg via Mongolia. Looking to get some work in Europe.

That sounds amazing!!! Definitely the cooler way of getting to Europe instead of just flying over! What kind of work you looking to get in Europe?
  • Hi All,

I'm looking for a spare ten club ticket for Stockholm. 3 of us are planning on going and obviously  I can only get 2 tickets. Will happily send over money via paypal if a 10c member can show me proof of their order.

If someone could PM me or reply to this, it would be much appreciated. GL to all trying tonight!

  • i can imagine amsterdam is a beautiful city. but for somebody following the tour, and usually is already broke, how long (rather short) would you recommend staying (and enjoying the city), without losing a lot of money? ;)
