Hidden messages...

I notice that from my Ukulele vinyl, but I wasn't part of the forum at the time, I haven't opened my white backspacer yet, and haven't received my PJ20 either... gonna check the others...

This is quite commonplace, I've spent many hours scrutinising my vinyl collection for them and found quite a few interesting ones, can't think of them off the top of my head though.

If you are interested in collecting vinyl in general (beyond Pearl Jam, I mean), this is a great site, you can check what exactly you've got your hands on.

So as I was checking out my vinyl for these hidden messages, I realized that I had 2 VS/Vitalogy Super Box Sets in my possession. I didn't remember ordering 2 so I checked my past order history and found that that I did order one in the spring and one this fall. I don't see how I did that. I can't remember, the 10c re-offer it this fall?
It's still sealed. Maybe I could trade someone for a sealed PJ Twenty vinyl. :roll:

Yes, I've noticed this.

I must be wierd - because I always look at "everything" - I'll even get my magnifying lens to see every little word that is written...

I haven't received PJ20 yet, but the etching sounds really cool. And my guess is that each etching is a different message from the band members

My guess:
-LP 1 Side A - 1 2 3 O'CLOCK 4 O'CLOCK ROCK (mm)
-LP 1 Side B - THANKS MOM AND DAD (mc)
-LP 2 Side A - BE LIKE WATER BE LIKE WIND (ja)
-LP 2 Side B - NOTHING CAN SURPASS THE MYSTERY OF STILLNESS (sg)
-LP 3 Side A - OUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT: ASSISTING TO FREE THE WEST MEMPHIS THREE (ev)
-LP 3 Side B - LIVE ALOHA EVERYDAY. MAHALO NUI LOA .... PEARL JAM (the whole band or... booooooom)

... or maybe someone at the pressing plant was just fooling around, pressing hidden messages

I would change LP1 Side A for LP1 Side B - MM would say Thanks Mom and Dad... (remember GRAMMYS?) and MC carries the TEMPO, on the rest I agree, nice!!!!!!!!!!

No, not hijacking, just commenting. I was very excited about your find though.

On a side note though in regard to your find and PJ-White Backspacer-Side A - GRAMMA MARGE, DAUGHTER OF PEARL 1918-2009... When I met Ed it was in 2009. I mentioned that my gramma had just passed and he mentioned that his gramma was ill in the hospital as well. I haven't shared that info with anyone until now.

Hey, love...I did a quick Google search, and from what I could find the first letters (RJOKVHJ) are the first initials of all of the band member's kids and the Mr. Forever part has to do with a Dr. Michael Richter. I have no idea if this is correct...

The initials are the band members children and "Mr Forever" was friend of Jeff (I think?) that passed away.. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong..
