I was hoping that the first show in the states for this tour would be kick ass and IT was all that and then some !
I thought they were going to play Rats really early in the show cause Eddie said it's nice to be back home at the home of the ALbany River Rats ( AHL hockey team that plays home games at the pepsi ) all of the banners were hanging right there for him to see....it was great to hear it

He was really engaged with the crowd this show and it was truly a great night. I thought it was gonna go longer he said they were gonna play for awhile early in the show and at one point asked if it was Saturday yet....in the last encore

i had 10c seats section 107 mikes side which i'v finally got to witness the mad man himself he is ridiculous and has soo much energy. me and my friend danced our asses off great energy from most of the crowd.

ed said something like theres the fans that like us from the songs on the radio and then there are the freaks.... something to that nature and was like these freaks are the ones that want us to play songs that we never play so that was a hint of the good things to come...RATS and SAD just to name a few which i think i fell in love with SAD with it being played live...

they didnt play YL which i think it took some time for us to realize the show was finally over...

at the end they had the bush mask and put it on jeff....eddie said he looked like somebody couldnt really hear bc of people around me screaming

Pleased with the set list and the band REALLY looked like they were enjoying thmeselves and the crowd

FREAKS RULE!!!!!

Before the first encore Ed made a comment that most fans at the show fall into two groups: those that want to hear the hits and the freaks who want to hear the songs that have never been played before. Well, my name is Brian and I'm a freak. Tonight's show blew me away. The hits certainly rocked tonight, but most of the 10 clubbers around me really went nuts when they played the rarities.

The opener of Wasted Reprise segued nicely into Life Wasted. I know it's been talked about here, but I'm glad they finally put these two songs together in concert. And Last Kiss and Come Back fit together nicely in the second encore. Mike and Stone really went off on the guitar solos in what had to be the longest, most intense version of Porch I have witnessed. After a smoke break Ed picked up his guitar and joined in.

As for the rarities, where to begin? Red Mosquito, the Another Brick In the Wall tag on Daughter, Off He Goes, hearing Gone and Comatose live for the first time, and the entire first encore: Satan's Bed and Rats! Are you kidding me? Every one was accompanied by some of the loudest crowd singing I've heard. And to top it all off, at the end Jeff donned the Bush mask and gave a double middle finger salute (yes I've got pics). Hopefully Comatose will become a regular part of the set. Full of growling Ed lyrics and Matt's booming drums, it was the highlight of the night for me.

I'm hoarse, I'm tired, and I've got a smile on my face I won't be able to wipe off for a week. I thought Toronto II would be hard to top. But for us freaks, tonight delivered.

omfg they played satan's bed and rats? wow fuck now im really pissed i didnt buy fan club tickets in time for this show. i didnt know it went on sale till a day late and it sold out on me fuck. i heard satan's bed 1 time in state college. but i never fuckin heard rats out of the 27 shows i went to.

did they just play these or were they requests? this setlist is amazing, how were the cops in albany this time too did they let pj play past 11pm or did they stop at 11? in 03 cops stopped curfew at that time. the 2 toronto shows were good they had garden, but i so want to hear rats

this is not a compliant, the show and my seats were amazing....but my number is 137xxx and I was row J on stones side. Were you using your 10c number for seats (your sig showed it as 160 something)? Just wondering how I ended up behind you with a lower number.....

no flaming people, I'm just wondering how it all works, seniority or blocks - the show was great (and loud, my ears are still ringing) and I loved my seats, especially being so close to stone during Porch - he ripped it up!

A review from section 102 row cc. Even back of the venue seats were awesome. That place is small enough that it felt like you were right there too, just a little bit away. Anyway, what amazed me was the fact that the crowd at times were as loud as Ed was singing. I never have been to any show where you can here the crowd sing along and actually hear us all while Ed is singing as well. Amazing show. A close second to my first PJ show in Buffalo in '03, very close. Ed teased us early in the night talking about how there were all kinds of Rats, in reference to the Albany River Rats, I knew they had to kick it out, it only made sense. The show opened with Boom playing Wasted Reprise and after that, it exploded! Just an amazing night that I am glad to have been a part of. Hope all of the rest of the shows only get better for all the rest of you guys. Peace.

They both sounded nearly flawless, rats was unbelievable, minor lyric changes in satan's bed, don't believe he said I'll never suck satans dick. he said something different. Off he goes sounded amazing as well as red mosquito, they definitely reheaarsed for this tour , it showed.

I've been to PJ shows with great sound mix, others have been sh*tty. The 2004 Move-On show in Boston was bad (sorry, guys, it's true); some of McReady's solos completely buried by the rhythm section.
