I was seriously unaware that heroin was STILL a top recreational drug in the US. A friend over the holidays told me of this S Florida band Secret French Kissing Society called "I Gotta Move" from his heroin dealer who lives next door. Love the song to me it's too funny.

    it goes

I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]
I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]
I live next door to a heroin dealer
Right next door... shes my neighbor

I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]

Every day i pass by her flat to get high
Every day i pass by her flat to get high
Every day i pass by her flat to shoot some dope
    Smoke some crack

I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]

Its just so sweet for me she lives next door
Its just so sweet for me she lives next door
Its just so sweet she live next door
Its such a breeze for me to score

I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]

She hooks me up on days when i am broke
She hooks me up on days when i am broke
She hooks me up when i am broke
She knows my habbits thats no joke

I live next door to a heroin dealer [get high]

lately, I've been watching and reading a lot of reports about our (USA) heroin addiction epidemic. it kind of blows my mind that this stuff can find it's way out of afghanistan, across the ocean, thru our borders/ports and on into the heartland of our country.

is this an american problem or do all "developed" countries have heroin problems? what about meth? has that made it to europe is is that an american thing? as John Kay said "Goddamn the pusher man!"

our ongoing "war on drugs" needs to take a new direction...

Okay... this is why I was pissed off at the Bush Administration in 2005. I mean, seriously... HoneyDew Melons? Competing on the global market with commercially grown melons? What is worth more to some Afghan farmer... heroin or HoneyDew Melons?
Was Bush actually ON heroin when he thought this up?
Wow melons and corn as an alternative to poppies. Although I did see a news story years ago where some group was trying to encourage Afghan poppy farmers to sell their crops legally in order that they could be used to make morphine for use in hospitals. That would seem like it would make more sense then melons.

"Heroin, be the death of me.
Heroin, it's my wife and it's my life Because a mainer to my vein, Leads to a center in my head... And then I'm better off than dead.

When the smack begins to flow, Then I really don't care anymore About all the Jim-Jims in this town And everybody putting everybody else down And all of the politicians makin' crazy sounds All the dead bodies piled up in mounds.

When that heroin is in my blood And the blood is in my head...
Yeah, thank God that I'm good as dead... thank your God that I'm not aware And thank God that I just don't care And I guess I just don't know."

    it's crazy

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles coroner's office says the cause of death for the 18-year-old son of former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer was a heroin overdose.

Thousand Oaks High School backup quarterback Griffen Kramer was found dead in his Agoura Hills home on Oct. 30.

The Ventura County Star (http://bit.ly/rKnHWk ) says a toxicological report shows the teenager died of acute morphine heroin toxicity.

Friends told investigators that Kramer began foaming at the mouth while consuming heroin with them. Authorities say one of his friends took him home and laid him down so he could sleep it off. The teen was found dead the next morning.

Five have been arrested in connection with Kramer's death.

Erik Kramer's NFL career spanned from 1987 to 1999. He played with Atlanta, Chicago, San Diego and Detroit.

Britain has a HUGE heroin problem.
I work with heroin addicts every day of my working life. They are the most self inflicted tragic people ever,it takes their very souls, lives, children and families from them. They will do anything for heroin,I mean anything.the effect on their children guarantees another generation of fucked up adults, when a 4 year old child shows me him "playing" at using a water hose as a tourniquet.
