I too cancelled my order at amazon.ca ... After seeing the text 'very limited' on the PJ page I couldn't trust that my amazon.ca's 'temporarily' out of stock order wouldn't become a forever out of stock situation. More money but after losing out on the deluxe Blu I didn't want to risk more disappointment...
can anyone else confirm that amazon US no longer has the pj20 soundtrack listed?? They mustve taken it down within the past day....
2009: Philly Night 2
2010: MSG Night 1 and Night 2
2011: Eddie Vedder Solo in Philly, PJ20 Alpine Valley Day 1 and Day 2.
2012: Berlin Night 1(7/4)
2013: Wrigley Field, Philly 1 and 2

it should still be listed as a pre-order item..it came up when I checked.
7/15/2011 - Benoroya Hall - (Eddie Vedder Solo) - Seattle, WA
4/2/2008 - The Center in Vancouver for Performing Arts (Eddie Vedder Solo) - Vancouver, WA
9/21/2009 Key Arena - Seattle, WA
7/22/2006 - Gorge Ampitheater - George, WA
9/1/2005 - Gorge Ampitheater - George, WA
ok.. yeah.. it came up for me yesterday when I searched.. but I can't seem to find it in search..
I am an amazon prime member.. so if I got it through them.. I would be saving like 5-6 bucks total cost.. but.. oh well.. I already bought the 10C version...
Remember, there is NO difference between retail and the 10c vinyl... they were all printed by the same company.

I might just hold out on this since it is available from retail places. $61 is a lot for live tracks that I already have on disk 2 of the blu-ray. If I want to listen to these songs I can just pop that in. I've listened to the demos and they're nothing special.
just because it's limited on the 10C website doesn't mean it's that limited if the exact same thing is going to be sold at retail.
i don't really buy this black friday marketing hype and will pick it up locally.

I plan on keeping my amazon order because according to the description it has a larger booklet and it is hard bound or something? Am I crazy or is this not only cheaper but it seems like it is at least the same, if not more stuff. AND it is cheaper and it will ship faster with less issues.
And to the people that say amazon will cancel your order if they run out of products.....I have ordered from amazon A LOT and that seems crazy to me.....anyone else?

Yes, we can read the "limited" part... you've done your duty of once again pointing that out.
The question was how could half the TC supplies sell out in under an hour and yet the other half is fine 4 hours later? It doesn't seem possible and I also don't know why SLH would post info on what has sold either. I could obviously be wrong, but that seems like the info above can't be right...
Ordered a copy from 10C and I am really happy to support the band directly!
Even if you buy it retail/independent record store - you're still "helping the band directly". The initial production cost to the band is the same whether you buy it from 10C or online. They're going to receive some sort of profit per unit sold - they're not giving them to Amazon, or any other online retailer for free. The difference is a huge retail operation like Amazon absorbs shipping costs and is set up to distribute larger volumes more efficiently, hence higher costs when purchasing direct from 10C.
Personally, I'll be buying it at my local record store, thus supporting TWO deserving establishments - the band and a local business. I've been able to find pretty much every PJ vinyl at some point locally at (1) a lower price (2) no shipping cost and (3) no shipping damage.
I'm all for buying 10C exclusives if you're into that sort of thing, although I think the last one I bought was the Avocado CD!

Buying pattern
Obviously you'll get that initial burst of sales, but to get 50% of your TOTAL allotment in under an hour, but not sell under 50% in the next 4 seems beyond impossible to me. Especially since there was no preset time for the sale.. info is trickling to people through texts/checking in to the site after work'/etc.
In the end it doesn't matter - I just don't buy for a second that over 50% was sold out in under an hour if its avail now.

It was 50% within an hour and 45 minutes. 3:00 till 4:45

I am pretty sure the band makes more money buy selling it directly through 10C. Let's say it cost 20$ to make a copy, and that they sell it for 25$ to amazon. They make 5$ with Amazon. If 10C sells it directly to us for 50$, that's 30$ profit for 10C. They get both the distributor and retailer profit by selling it through the website.
