Four pound shipping weight...very limited edition...but still same as retail edition?? I almost get the feeling this thing might have a little something extra. Maybe autographed? I guess I can hope.

Mmm, 2 lb album with bonus 2lbs of autographs. I like the sound of that!

I guess what I mean is it sounds like it's ridiculously over wrapped for something that if damaged the club could just issue a refund and a member could buy the same thing somewhere else. I guess I'm just hoping for something special.

No autographs, just delicious vinyl and packaging. The actual weight is about 3.25lbs, billable weight is 4lbs.

From what it says on Amazon..the one they are selling is the import (UK) version that releases 12/13.

10C states that this one will ship on or before 11/30.

I have both now...so maybe atleast the catalog numbers will be different..maybe.

  • Wow...I really don't understand why 10c is leaving so much money on the table with these ridiculously limited edition items. Going over to check out the vinyl, I see the Alpine Valley poster is now sold out, and it only went on sale what? Yesterday? That is some seriously crazy shit, right there. Good grief...I thought I'd at least have til the weekend since it was members only and limit 1 per! How many did they print, fer cryin out loud? A few hundred? And if so, why? All the work that goes into that...and only a few printed? Just doesn't make any sense to me at all - not as a fan, and certainly not as a businessperson who has counseled tons of businesses about ways to improve their bottom line. Was there even an email about the poster being on sale? I never got one. Not that that is unusual - I never get the emails anyway.

I don't care about the poster THAT much...and I really can't afford it anyway, so I suppose I'm good with missing it...but I just do not get why they intentionally put money into the flipper's pockets at the expense of their own pocket...and ours.

I'm completely baffled. The only parties that benefit from these absurdly limited items that sell out in 24 hours or so are flippers. 10c loses the opportunity for income...and the fans lose the ability to afford things they really want. Only the flippers win. :(

Wonder how long the vinyl will hold out? Will it make it to the morning?

    Unbelievable. It really is.

Oh...there will be bitching - of that you can be certain. If they sell out the record tonight (as they seem to be on track for doing) there will be a LOT of pissed off Europeans tomorrow.

Well, that's very nice for you, of course...but I think you would agree that many European members are in bed right now. And if the record sells out before they get up, I could certainly understand any frustration they might communicate with regard to that circumstance. ;)

Call me a wacky sort of fan...but I actually care about others besides just myself, and 'getting mine'.

    I know....crazy concept, right?

Hopefully the vinyl holds out so that they at least have a reasonable chance. :)

Picked one up! I already have the CD, but maybe down the line I'll get a nice record player instead of taking the Christmas singles to my parents house to play on their record player. I guess worst comes to worst I could always trade it down the line for the Hershey poster I need along with my Tampa 2003 Bootleg. :-)

    Happy Thanksgiving!
