Ah, wondering now if i could pick it up cheaper in store. Oh the dilema... $54.89 on amazon with free shipping might be the better way to go if they're the same.

I noticed Amazon's is a UK pressing, whereas the 10C is US (RTI is in California). That *could* be the difference, if any, between the two. It's either that or Amazon's description is incorrect.
I think Music on Vinyl wanted to release it in Europe. Maybe that's why the description says UK pressing...although Music on Vinyl is in The Netherlands.
Ordered a copy from 10C and I am really happy to support the band directly! It's been a real good week so far!

Actually, just checked again, the amazon one is UK version hardbound book. Does that mean there is a difference then between that and this release?

if you want it, just get it ppl!!...Its all these ppl who are hesitant to pull the trigger, questioning everything about it, when its in front of them right now, who will bitch later about not having enough time...
For those speculating on differences please re-read the first post Santos states they are the same as retail fyi
Thanks for the heads-up! And thanks to Santos for updating us. Think I'll hold off for the moment so. Might try to pick it up retail.
I've had this on a verbal pre-order with my local record store for about a month now...
The confirmation that this is the same version as retail, seals the deal for me to pick it up there!!!

I ordered from 10C but I wasn't planning on it. Here's why - 10C says it will ship on or before 11/30, whereas the Amazon release date isn't until 2 weeks later. With super-saver shipping from Amazon, the price is only $3 different. I'll pay $3 to (I assume) have it close to 2 weeks earlier than Amazon and their super-saver shipping.
The more I think about it...that was one damn expensive movie...
Movie ticket to see it in theater. (plus popcorn and soda)
Soundtrack on CD.
Companion book.
DVD set.
Soundtrack on vinyl.
Dang.
Sounds like the makings of a Mastercard commercial. But man, you're not kidding! $22.00 for two movie tickets, $25.00 for 1/2 tank of gas driving to the closest DC Metro station, $9.00 for a Metro pass, $12.00 for a beer and popcorn at the theatre, $25.48 for CD soundtrack, $42.49 for book, $65.49 for Deluxe DVD, $61.50 for vinyl soundtrack.
