    I'm not that impressed by store bought ice cream anymore... :(

    I don't really like ice cream, but a friend gave me a jar of homemade rhubarb sauce that makes plain vanilla awesome!!

    I wanted to start a vegan ice cream shop in Austin, but I got tuberculosis, which I cured with tea tree oil capsules, and couldn't finish my business management class. Now I want to make brain tonics and a singer's tonic. I want to make brain tonic ice cream eventually.

    just now made homemade vanilla ice cream. the kitchen sink has been screaming the last couple hours or whatever. spin spin spin the ice covered metal drum in the wooden bucket
    spin spin spin the ice covered metal drum

    added a few squirts of chocolate syrup from hershey's to my bowl.

    also... if you have never manually hand cranked a ice cream maker you have been sheltered & extremely pampered. not that this ice cream maker is manual, it is not, but as a kid I remember helping crank the fucking shit out of a ice cream bucket

    My wife was just telling me yesterday about how she made homemade vanilla ice cream as a kid all the time. I need to try it still.

    When I was a kid we made homemade ice cream at my grandfather's house this way....one of his faves to make was vanilla with grapenuts (cereal)...it was yummy! :D

    Had some alcohol infused ice cream this past weekend...pretty damn good. One was infused with lemon flavored vodka the other one infused with Jameson! I think I got a little drunk off the ice cream :thumbup: :mrgreen:
