I was just watching some football (Redskins/Cowboys) and enjoying some Ben & Jerry's Red Velvet Cake ice cream (Yummmy!)..while it's hard to love my team the Redskins...it's never hard to love ice cream. :D

There's alot of ice cream talk around here...but I didn't see a thread solely dedicated to the love of ice cream..so here it is.

I love pretty much anything from Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs' Creme Brulee flavor is awesome.

What's your favorite ice cream?
Favorite brand?
Do you like your ice cream "naked" or with toppings?

    I love ice cream,we have a traditional ice cream parlour here called Lucas,owned by an Italian family,all their ice cream is stunning.The do an amazing sundae called Meringue Mess,vanilla ice cream,homemade meringue,hot toffee sauce,banana,toffee pieces and crushed nuts.I could die happy eating that stuff.

    But for supermarket bought stuff,love Ben & Jerrys Phish Food and Hagen Das Chocolate

    I like ice cream anyway,naked or with everything on

    Love the cookie dough ice cream. Love hot fudge sundaes as well. has to have whipped cream and jimmies also.

    I adore ice cream. I once ate it for breakfast/lunch/dinner for over a month (aside from when I was at work because it would have melted) :oops: :oops: It has to have a vanilla-type base though. I don't like chocolate. My favorite is Cold Stone birthday cake remix, but any vanilla with stuff in it (cookies and cream, cookie dough, etc) or plain vanilla will do. You can pretty much take anything away from me, but keep your hands off of my ice cream!!! :twisted:

    while its not ice cream it IS a frozen dessert that stocks right next to IC at the store.

    Here recently we have been getting sorbet. Different flavors. Lemon is very intense and tart. I really like the mango. GF likes the peach.

    Hmm...this sounds delicious....meringue and ice cream...might have to try that...

    The other thing about ice-cream that I love is that it is never too cold for ice-cream.

    It could be the middle of winter but I'll still have a bowl of it...

    I've recently discovered cookies & cream mint ice cream at the grocery store. Two of my favorites rolled into one! And today I added Double Stuff Oreos to it. Yum! My favorite from Baskin Robbins is their daiquiri ice. They got rid of it for awhile & I almost had a meltdown. Thank God they brought it back! :D

    Last year I saw a recipe for a pumpkin pie milkshake...you take a slice of pumpkin pie + vanilla ice cream + a little milk and blend it up...might have to try this this year...

    Ben and Jerry's: Red Velvet Cake, Tiramisu, cookie dough, strawberry cheesecake, mint chip

    also love those little cups of orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream

    I'm gonna go have some Schweddy Balls now...

    though all dairy products make me feel logey(no im not lactose intolerant) i do like serendipity* rum and raisin.




    * family outfit located in marrickville sydney. the woman who started it is allergic to chocolate... that is so sad... surely that should be recognised as a disability.
