    After being away from this board for a year and a half I had to search high and low for this thread but it was worth it. Best weekend ever. PJ25 isn't too far away. I hope to meet everyone there (where ever 'there' is)that I was not able to meet at AV.

    Saturday was dumping rain. I remember the make shift mud slide to the left of us. Man that hill was steep! The Release opening was on target. What a weekend!

    Hard to believe that PJ20 was close to 3 years ago...AND we're getting close to PJ25!!
    I can still remember this show like it was yesterday, sure wish they would RELEASE THE ALPINE BOOTS!!

    I was running on pure adrenaline all weekend. Stayed up all night Friday because I was too keyed up about the weekend. Spent all night drinking, checking and rechecking everything. Saturday was straight from the airport to the venue, waited in line in the on off again rain for two hours or so to buy posters. Then to the hotel, change eat back to the show.

    Wouldn't change a minute.

    So crazy that we're going on 3 years since this weekend. Such a great time.

    I STILL get goose bumps thinking about and watching videos of the Release opener from that weekend. There were so many highlights and great moments from the weekend, but to me, that moment took the cake. One of the most powerful musical experiences I've ever witnessed. I thought Release from that weekend trumped Wrigley far away - and even that version was incredible.

    I could talk about that weekend all day long. These boots need to see the light of day - it would be an absolute shame if they don't.

    Love it. Seems like ages ago but will never forget. This is one of those stories my grandkids will hear over and over and over. Can't wait for 25...wonder where I will be travelling to. I have a feeling I will need to get a passport.

    I hope they release these boots as Vault #5 to 10c members who get fan club tickets at PJ25 at the Gorge. Just like how they handed out Vault #1 boots at PJ20

    Many feel the same way. It was an amazing experience. I remember during Release thinking - I did it, I made it, I'm HERE because for so long it seemed an impossible journey for me.

    I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

    ...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

    Alpine was my first show and It was absolutely amazing! I had spent the past 16 years being a single mom loving the band thru CD's only. I went home after that weekend a changed person. I had no idea what I had been missing but I will never miss another tour again!

    Posting because Alpine will always be my #1 PJ show. I have seen many and all were great in their own way but at AV he connection the fans had with each other and the band was something I had never experienced before and haven't experienced since.
