OMG would i ever love to go to T.O. for the show May 10, however, it is a lie. I will not be there. If i win the Super7 jackpot this weekend i will be at every show on the tour, domestic and abroad! otherwise, no, on my sad little civil servant wages i can't go much further than my backyard these days.
Thanks for the concern Truth...i'm hanging in there...one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. Going back to work was the hardest thing, considering i deal with death all day. D'oh!
Have i been to Ireland? Nope. I haven't travelled much...been to all three of the Maritime provinces, Montreal and Bangor. That's the extent of my travels. I think you should go to Ireland--if you can--so i can live vicariously through you and we can spread the word and get another show in Halifax!

No, if you win the big one, **WE** are going to every gig, domestic and abroad. Hehehe.
I saw this in the Toronto Star the other day and thought it was kinda odd.....it was an article about Halifax donairs and where to get them in toronto. the best place was supposed to be at yonge and dundas. About the Halifax sweet version, the owner says: "its not my type because I don't like sweet things, but people who like it really like it." Now, doesn't that remind you of a certain slogan for a certain beer ? I see a weird Nova Scotia-Keith's-donair thread thing happening here. Somehow we'll have to drive a few donairs into the boys when they hit T.O., thereby rendering them helpless re: any plans to revisit Halifax. They'll be hooked and will have no choice but to show up at King of Donair and the Metro Centre for a rockin' all-nighter(as previously promised).

Or, I'm simply baked.......
i lived in blissful donair ignorance until my best friend moved to montreal a few years back. he used to get me to send sweet donair sauce to him in care packages because he didn't like the non-sweet sauce. i just couldn't fathom donairs without it! it just wouldn't be a donair!
so are we going to call this new plan you've hatched OPERATION: DONAIR?
OPERATION: KEITH'S?
OPERATION: BREATH SO BAD YOUR OWN MAMA WOULDN'T KISS YOU?
for anyone in Fredericton, The Fox 105.3 fm is going to be playing the new album April 29th at 8 pm (atlantic standard time) with interviews and whatnot as well.
i've traded in listening to the halifax boot for the new record (along with the ne neil, of course)...but i feel i need a new halifax boot to listen to with some of the new tunes on it...possibly an '06 boot?!?! hmmm...please!
Man, I've been listening to the show everyday at work for the past 4 days. It was the most amazing time. Drove down the day of the show, it was perfect. The entire thing seems like a dream, but the feelings and memories will last a lifetime.
Is it just me or did we lose some pages from this post??
No, there was actually two threads for halifax, though this one was fell by the wayside some time ago, and was recently resurrected. I guess one thread wasn't enough !!
almost 2 year bump. so i bump i shall. other's are getting bumped, so i want to do it to. big whoop. wanna fight about it? you know, and i know, this show kicked major ass '05. setlest show's and the drink of the keith's show's too!
i was wondering, if you all are interested. would be sweet to do!
would many here be interested in a get together at the split crow or any pub/rest of your choice .. here in the halifax area? meet your fellow pearl jam friends? friends from the board, fans of the music etc..
i know the christmas season is just weeks ago, was just thinking about hosting something where we could meet. talk about pj, tell stories etc.. face to face. good way to meet one another. listen to music, watch some videos, get to know a few members.
