Show was awesome. I would love to hear over and over again when Eddie did Arc. That was my favorite moment of the entire show. Eddie voice was incredible and the crowd was well behaved. I sat with a great group of people and my seats were great. Row K seat 10.
thank you so much for sharing these

but your pictures are a textbook demonstration of why flashes are useless in gigs, only thing you lit up is the back of people's head!
next time, just turn the damn thing off, you'll get better pictures without annoying anyone much (the stupid screens are annoying, that's why my camera has a viewfinder and I turn the screen off)
1. The Tour is dedicated to Evel Kenievel
2. A fellow named Kevin Shuss writes out the set lists (works for Pearl Jam)
3. Liam Finn is one cool musician and a heck of a nice guy
4. Hard Sun is, like, the best song in the world
5. The Surfrider people are awesome!
6. Pearl Jam fans are the best group of fans - very supportive of one another! Not strangers, but friend swho haven't yet met
7. Ed cried during "No More" the first night (according to the Seattle Times)
8. The security people were really nice if you were nice to them first
9. The Centre is a fantastic room
10. Ed - wow...
Please feel free to add your own things to the list!
Well I was blessed to see both shows. I have been going to concerts for 30+ years and I have to say the last 2 nights will be my most memorable. I was so excited and had huge expectations going in. I was so impressed with night 1 but was completely blown away by night 2. EV surpassed my expectations 10 fold.
Met some great people and made some new friends that I hope to see more of along the way!!! Who knew that a Zippo lighter could be the cement in a new friendship??!!
To all the people who are going to see these shows....Get ready for a chance of a life time and just try and get that smile off of your face!!!
Enjoy all!!!!
Ripple in still water when there is no pebble tossed nor wind to blow...
Two very memorable days and nights, and like vedderfan 10 said, the shows were just a bonus. meeting great like minded people who all share a common bond through the music was so great.
cant wait to meet more of you in DC and New York in june. Rock on.
Van '98, Sea I+II '00, Sea '01, Sea II '02, Van '03, Gorge, Van, Cal, Edm '05, Bos I+II, Phi I+II, DC, SF II+III, Port, Gorge I+II '06, DC, NY I+II '08, Sea I+II, Van, Ridge , LA III+IV' 09, Indy '10, Cal, Van '11, Lond, Van, Sea '13, Memphis '14, RRHOF '17, Sea I+II '18, Van I+II, Vegas I+II '24
The show was amazing, just eddie and a guitar. One of, if not the best show, I have ever had the privelage of attending.
Thanks to Vancouver and all those who organized the pre meet up, so many people, so many great items auctioned off for a great cause....i bid on and successfully one the spain 2007.
Vaccouver represented......awesome!!! :D:D:D
it was nice to meet pit faces too at the preparty.
I also got one of these last night - and signed - all I can say is Jason, you are a bloody legend! thanks mate.
Wow it sounds like you guys had an awesome night as well - I wish I could have been at both; but one alone is still awesome! Thanks for sharing everyone...
i know those crazy mary requests were silly, but in the back area of orch L, there was a guy who actually yelled "Pearl Jam Sucks!!" twice!
Yeah, I was close to that guy thinking what a donkey. Also, another Crazy Mary requester was beside me, said it after every second song.....I kind of thought the in between song banter from the crowd was kind of amusing. Doesn't happen at many concerts.
Dead Center again, but this time, 2nd to last row in the upper Balcony with MasterFramer.
The vocals were a little muddier, but I thought the guitar actually sounded better. The show seemed a little shorter. But hey, we got Lukin and ARC!
That had some dry ice smoke effects both nights for the Hard Sun finale. But from the top it looked really cool because you could see it envelop the stage and swirl around, which you couldn't see from the floor. Plus, being on top, no one is taking cell phone pics, because cell phone camera's blow (unless you have an iphone)
All in all, I'd say there's not a bad seat in the house. The people that complain about seats are just spoiled IMO.
Song highlights were: Setting Forth, Lukin, Society, ARC!
I experienced the first show of the tour and wrote my thoughts under that thread.
The 2nd show was amazing as well. I feel so privileged to have seen him both nights in my city.
thoughts I later wrote:
Respectable musician, artist, activist and fellow human, yes. I do appreciate the stories of the songs that he preforms. The artistic vision that rips through his rough soulful voice as he delicately strums the guitar - amazing.
He still performs with his first guitar.
The performances that I listened to and saw over the past two nights, were in my opinion (and that of many others) perfect, pure and honest. Complete with integrity, humor, consciousness of sense and emotion, these attributes are of someone who can articulate their emotions and experiences of life through art. That is Eddie Vedder.

I know I broke the rules but in my defense I only took pictures at the more appropriate times, when a lot of other people were taking them as well, not in the middle of a beautiful moment when silence was important.
Also, I dont think asking for the setlist is tacky, and I dont care cause well...I have it and its now my most prized possession. I didnt beg Liam to get it for me, he was a very nice guy and puts on a great show!
And to the person with setlists from both nights...how did you get them, and I guess there is more than one for each night cause i have the same one? Pretty cool though

Don't know if it's just me, but I find the fact you asked/used Liam to get you the setlist very tacky.
Disagree.
Nice work getting the setlist. I'm sure Liam was happy to grab it for you.

Bob Dylan
If anyone, ANYONE has ARC full version from that night, post a link!

The Forever Young performed by EV is a Bob Dylan song.. EV WOULD NOT DO A ROD STEWART COVER!!
