    I don't even bother using DEET, they still bite me...and I get horrible allergic reactions to the bites, they turn into huge welts with bruising that last for weeks.
    Isopropyl alcohol, just use a make-up remover pad and rub some on the bites. Takes the itch out and reduces the welts, if they are really bad just hold on the bite for a bit for better effect.
    I will try that!

    My old boss made me up some Ledum (homeopathic stuff) a few years back, finally found it and I've been taking that.

    Nothing. I have this excruciatingly easy going friend, and he's just moved our plans for today forward several hours just because he figures it's fine to make other plans and rearrange ours to suit his updated social schedule. So basically, he doesn't appreciate the very reason people make plans to do shit in the first place. He does shit like this all the time and acts like I'm weird for getting annoyed. So.... i am doing nothing for the time being, since my plans just got treated like they were never made. :-L
