    Visiting my moms house while my half sister, brother in law and niece are in town. Watching Blazing Saddles at her house on Encore.

    trying to get rid of my mums migraine naturally....
    its really hard as she doesnt like to take medications....
    we have a tonic but its not good before a meeting bc its
    alcohol so needless to say something natural would be good...
    and we cant talk so its really quiet here accept for my radio
    on lightly..

    Watching Tim Salmon, Dean Chance and Mike Witt inducted in the Angels hall of fame before the game against the Jays.

    I was actually at the combined no butter Witt and Langston pitched for them when I was 9 years old during Spring break of 90. Thanks for the memories Witt and King Fish.

    Playing psychotherapist tonight to my daughter who is starting a new school in a new school district tomorrow. She knows no one and is scared to death. She's a warm and friendly kiddo. I told her that I'm sure that by tomorrow night this time, her feelings will be very different. Still . . . At least at this school, I don't feel like I'm feeding her to the wolves like I did with the city school she was assigned to.

    Speaking as someone who was fed to the wolves - you are doing a good thing. Make sure you have tutoring options available in case the city school has her a wee bit behind some of her classmates in the new school.

    ^^ Good point. That has been something we discussed since she learned nothing during 5th grade since two teachers retired (and were just punching the clock) and her teacher just didn't teach.
