Want to smash the radio? Creed used to bother me to no ends. But now when I hear that band I want to smash the radio. I will get up from whatever I'm doing and change the station if they come on.
Anyone else? I think most music these days sucks monkey nuts.
Just, not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said, I dont want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, to feel, to know Im alive.

The last I had heard of them was like 4-5 years ago when they got booed and pelted with rocks while on stage in Portugal.

I heard a bunch of people went to one of their concerts and left early demanding a refund.

    They wanted their nickel back.

I will admit it and I don't care what you say...I Like Nickelback! But I do accept the fact that most of their music today is shitty. But their album Silver Side Up is awesome.

I know I've probably heard some of their stuff, but I'll be damned if I can name any of it. I know I saw them on TV once, I want to say on Conan, and I didn't like it. Most of what I hear about them is people talking about how bad they are. Seems like the only press they get is bad press. I remember the first time I heard of them was that comedian Brian Posehn saying "I believe that music can inspire violence in people. For instance, when I hear Nickelback, it makes me want to kill Nickelback". That was probably 10 years ago.

Did that cop really say Jars Of Clay are his favorite band?:lol:

I loved how the guy said it was his duty to inform Officer Daniels that he has bad taste in music.

yes, they are one band that I don't care to listen to. I immediately reach over and change the station. There are other bands that I do that for too that sound like them. My girlfriend is used to it, she will say "what, was that too nickel-backy for you?"

Nickelback fans will probably be single forever

    http://arts.nationalpost.com/2011/11/01 ... e-forever/

Nickelback and Justin Bieber fans be warned: Don’t mention your musical loves on the first date.

The Albertan rockers and the Canadian teenage pop icon finished first and second on a survey carried out by Tastebuds.fm, the U.K.-based dating site that matches singles according to their musical interests.

The site’s members were asked to name up to 12 bands whose music they could not stand — and that would prove a romantic turnoff. With 1,600 responses, Nickelback and Justin Bieber led the overall nominations. The other artists that made the top ten (in descending order) were Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Coldplay, U2, Creed, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne and Britney Spears.

“We were curious to know which bands people would be most horrified to discover when browsing their date’s iPod,” said site founder Alex Parish in a statement. “Although sharing musical tastes with your partner is not the be all and end all, it can certainly help in maintaining a harmonious relationship — and we’ve seen it’s a great conversation starter.”

Men and women had different opinions on the subject of musical taboos, with women seemingly more offended by female artists. Five artists made it onto the separate Top 20 list for women that did not make male radar screens: Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj. Meanwhile, men had their own unique musical annoyances: Oasis, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Eminem and Kanye West made it onto the male Top 20.

  • Nickleback came on the radio a few days ago in the car.
My hand was lightning fast to change the station.
But I clicked back over to hear the song -- I had a sudden feeling as if I was unable to watch a train wreck. I had to know why rotting flesh smells like rotting flesh.

It was confirmed the song sucked, the lyrics were shallow, and his voice was not rosy at all.

hearing a song by them makes me want to kick them in the nickel sack.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
