i knew my SO for years before we ever got together. had mutual friends in common, lived in the same neighborhood, etc. we were always with other people, until we weren't. :P met up with him again at a party, and we talked and talked and talked....then on memorial day we were at a friend's pool party, got friendly....we left....headed to the beach.....snogged for hours. and sure, we went to a local spot for food/drinks...guess i was easy. haha.

When I met my hubby, he was singing in a band where my sister was dating the drummer. We'd go to their shows all the time to support my sis's boyfriend. When my hubby would perform, he reminded me a lot of Phil Anselmo, so it was instant love at first sight Of course we were both dating other people at the time and it took years before we finally got together. Part of me always knew we would get married though, even before we were dating. Cheesy I know!!

we did mexican than went out for a drive. chicks dig sports cars.

then we went back to my place and hung out....until the next day and watched the 1 oclock football games.

Is there only one everyone? I've had a few that were seemingly at the time the one, but then someone comes along that is better; either better than me or better than her. It is refreshing to see all these posts about people actually staying with the same person for a long time in this oft romantically deprived world.

what do you mean by belong together??? i assume(no matter how much of an arse that makes me out to be) you mean romantically. but then i have a problem with that term. what is romantic?? i have 3 major relationships in my life atm(not including my children of course) and i love them all.. one of them is with my lover, one is with my BFF and the third is with someone who over this past year has become a close friend whom i would trust with my life. all 3 are 'the one' for the role they play in my life. put them all together and i am a better person for having them in my life.. so again i ask you, what do you mean by 'belong together'? cause i can tell you those 3 people are a massive part of who i am today.

I was like that too - it really does slap you in the face when you least expect it.

But, it's also very important to be happy if you haven't had it happen yet either
