I got a call from my mom yesterday that an old neighbor of ours passed away. He was 71. When he was in his late 40’s, he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He went from being a vibrant man to having to use a walker, then a wheelchair and eventually basically bed ridden.
His wife stood by him everyday until the day he died.
That’s what marriage is about, whether you say your vows in the name of God, or in a non-religious ceremony. That’s what a commitment is.
I may come off as an asshole saying this, but sometimes my girlfriend will stop on their reality show and watch for a little bit and I have not been able to help myself from immediately changing the channel and telling her that she can't watch that here, and that she is better than that.
Does it make me a dick? Maybe... but, there is something in this world called principle.
if my girlfriend/wife started watching this shit i'd tell her to either stop it or leave and never come back
i have no problem with watching mindless tv but these people are offensive and disgusting and deserve any bad things that may come their way
