  • I just checked my account on Amazon, and it said I wouldn't get the cd til between October 21 and 25th. :( I can't understand this, as I pre-ordered it a long time ago. I may just have to head to Target on Wed. (I won't have my car tomorrow :( )

Thanks for the $9.99 heads up! I ordered it a few days ago for $14.88. I shot Amazon an email tonight and they just responded saying they would refund the difference. It should be in my mailbox when I get home from work tomorrow!

Yes, I did do the free shipping-you are probably right. However, I just now received an e-mail from Amazon saying to expect it on Wednesday, October 16th!! I sure hope they are right about that! :D

Vinyl on backorder...wonder when they're gonna get it in. Looks like 10 Club was the only one who got them.

I think they sold out on the ones they had.

I guess Eddie said Lightning Bolt is #1 in 54 countries

Do you think it'll surpass Backspacer's first week sales of 189,000?

Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

I preordered the cd from Amazon for $14.88 and called them on Monday when the price dropped to $9.99 because I didn't see the credit on my account for the price drop. At some point during the call the connection went bad and the customer service lady couldn't hear me and told me to just call back. So I called right back and got another person who processed the credit for me. When I hung up the phone I got an email on my phone from the first woman telling me she was sorry we got disconnected and she processed my refund. Again. Then on Wednesday I got an email from Amazon notifying me they auto credited my account for the price drop... Again. Then yesterday they sent me an email telling me I earned a $1 credit towards an mp3 download for purchasing Lightning Bolt. All that and I got free two day shipping. Not bad.

The thing I like about a new album release is that the older ones sell better also

I think Swallowed Whole is more like Unthought Known than Lightning Bolt.

#2 in both cd and mp3.

Some of the reviews don't make sense. A reviewer said a lot of the songs were good but still gave it 1 star.
