Signed Super Deluxe Ten-- received from Ten Club

Hello,

I was lucky enough to win one of the signed copies of the Ten Club Super Deluxe editions of Ten. Unfortunately I now find myself in a position where I need to sell it.

Before I put it online I am extending the offer on here. I am looking for reasonable offers.

I will provide (obviously) the signed box set, original shipping box that the set was shipped to me in, and a hard copy and an email forward of the email that was sent to me at the time by Ten Club to authenticate the set.

I have taken the set apart and looked at the contents. I have NOT taken anything out, or listened to, or done anything to the contents of the set.

I will provide photos and anything else requested to any serious interest.

Thanks,

Jeff

its general knowledge that you are required to post the price. it states that "You can trade and set a reasonable price" and that auctions are not allowed. By just contacting the seller with the price it is essentially the same as an auction. Can't we all just get along now?
  • Name a price and we'll go from there!

Either Very brave or very foolish to be selling something like this on pj's site. You lucked out getting one of these and now you're hawking it on their very own site? Brave man. Best of luck with it.
  • I agree with the previous poster. You are a brave man to come here and ask for offers.

I suggest you sell it back to 10C for the price you paid for it and they give it to someone who will truly appreciate it. It's not like these things are a dime a dozen... That, or auction it off and give all the proceeds minus the actual price you paid for it, to a deserving charity, such as CCFA, or some other cause that the guys support.

First of all, I don't want to sell it, I have to.

Second of all, I have no idea what this is worth.... maybe the $200 or whatever it cost me? The point wasn't to start an auction of any sort.

But hey, while I got shafted by the Ten Club for Toronto (and got an ignorant response to my inquiries) I'm sure all of the self righteous who have messaged me were right up there in the 2nd row....

You can probably sell it for a lot more than $200.

This place is insane, people really want this guy to offer it for the price he paid?

Id have to question how many people who are hanging the OP would genuinely do that.

Yeah hes lucky to 'win' this, but given we all know how rare they are now, it obviously holds a very solid value. He's entitled to that value.

Because he bought it, doesnt mean he has to keep it, he's enjoyed it for a time now and has obviously got reasons for needing to sell.

Yes a price would be great, but i certainly understand these are very tough to value, but in his credit he hasnt taken it straight to ebay....hes offered it out here to see if a deal can be struck with someone who would really appreciate it

I know i would love it, probably cant reach what would be required right now, but I wont slam him here because of that

This is a cool unique collectible. I recall buying three of these sets at the time to increase my chances and was quite deflated to miss out, but well thats life.
  • from the moment you have to sell it,name a price ,i know its rare, there is no price for it in the market,so you need to tell us whats the price you put on this...
the rules are clear about puting for sales items with no price in the forum..
must put a price, auctions are not allowed..
if you cant do that, you can go to ebay to sell it...

    +1

If I would've won the lottery on the Ten SDE I would've immidiately sold the signed one and bought an unsigned replacement.

Is there a market value for this? My absolute bottom dollar would be $1000, and I bet it can/will fetch much more.

funny isnt it that he is being told to name his price,

you can bet if he did and it was for arguments sake $750. he would be lambasted. and probably pointed towards the golden rules that stipulate 'reasonable'.....

hes on a loser all day here

sorry you have recieved so much hassle for a lovely item. I would stick it on ebay personally as everyone is being ridiculous about reselling ANYTHING. if its more than you paid for it it makes you a flipper regardless of inherent value, situations that mean you have to sell, etc. I dont think you are a flipper and wish you good luck with selling it for what its worth, not face value.

This is becoming a less and less attractive place for people to sell stuff...especially if said item was a pre-order one per member whatever bought from 10c.

My position is that this is a marketplace for all things Pearl Jam, there should be no reason to get hassled for trying to improve ones financial situation while re-distributing to a "deserving" (i.e. one with cash, but no luck) member.

Lost Dogs is our "store", but the self-righteousness of some make it a very unattractive one.... :(

    Great posts defending the OP.

The "Holier than thou" police need another room. Maybe 10c could name it " Grievance" and if you are uppity enough to enter you will not even have to post because all of your thoughts and all knowing insight will already be posted in Pearly White script on granite background.

    Dont take less than $500.

  • Why don't you do a raffle? Maybe $20 a for a chance. I'm sure EVERYBODY on this board would buy multiple chances. Give 10% to charity and keep the rest.
