Despite the fact that many people feel as if they suffered a huge injustice in regards to missing-out on the backpack, white vinyl & blu-ray sets, some of you must have some happy thoughts, events or accomplishments to share.

Anyone?

Well Joe, I hope this doesn't upset you with your recent loss, but my father is turning 78 tomorrow. Happy birthday dad!!

And I'm getting a promotion next month, my boss says I am way underpaid for what I do. YEAH. She put me in for it, they approved it, just don't know how much yet. And that's pretty big, promotions are few and far between here.

Going to pick up my daughter at day care in a few minutes is 40,000 times more satisfying, on a daily basis actually, than receiving any PJ item in the mail...limited or not.

    Priorities? Check.

    Congrats!

At first, I thought you said that your sister passed a bar, and for once, she didn't go in and have a drink! :)

My kid was able to get something from the prize box in kindergarten for good behavior. He was pumped when he got off the bus today.

Another accomplishment, it rained for the 67th straight day here in central PA. Yippee!!

My teacher commented on an assignment I had returned and gave me praise for it. :) It was much needed and appreciated!

I just got invited to attend a volunteer introduction meeting at the biggest community radio station here in SLC after submitting an application that listed my prior experience in radio.

Looking forward to getting involved and working on some seniority around those parts.

Is a return to radio in my future? Hard to tell, but I may have found an open door. :)

    Thanks!

I am not always a happy-go-lucky fella, but after reading all of the kvetching here this week (and I understand that people get upset about merch), I wanted to try and take the vibe in a happier direction!

A friend of mine at work used to complain if the fancy shoes she ordered online didn't fit. I reminded her that millions of kids around the world would be happy to use the cardboard from the shoe box as "shoes" to protect them from the stones on their drought-stricken land.

    Perspective :)

I am currently planning my own ghost tour of Chicago for tomorrow night since all the tours they have are like $60...Quija board? Check. Black ops outfits? Check. Ghostbuster sign for our car? Check.

Yep I am the world's largest dork but I haven't been this excited about anything since PJ20!
