What the fuck, Greeks!?! All that for nothing !? You guys just played hard ball to the Nth degree and the elevety-levnth hour. You even had a vote about it. For what? To turn around a day later and cave in to every single thing you just railed against?

    Pitiful.

The vote allowed the Greek people to speak their minds. So it did what it was really designed to do. My thoughts anyway.

Did you read the Ambrose EP (dipshit) report that said Tsipras didn't even want to "win" the referendum? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11724924/Europe-is-blowing-itself-apart-over-Greece-and-nobody-can-stop-it.html

    ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

What kind of bullshit game is REALLY being played here?

    You guys are getting fucked.
Greek premier Alexis Tsipras never expected to win Sunday's referendum on EMU bail-out terms, let alone to preside over a blazing national revolt against foreign control.
He called the snap vote with the expectation - and intention - of losing it. The plan was to put up a good fight, accept honourable defeat, and hand over the keys of the Maximos Mansion, leaving it to others to implement the June 25 "ultimatum" and suffer the opprobrium.

Right vote was means to allow greek citizens to think they had a part.

So given that the people themselves were the ones making all this clamour and protesting in the streets throughout this entire process, do you expect the greek citizens to "go quietly in to the night" now, or would you expect when\if this Bailout 3 goes through that there will be a bunch of people protesting again?

Is not an acceptance of Bailout 3 a DIRECT contradiction of Syriza's elected mandate?
Is it not *awfully soon* after absolute proof of the will of the people (the referendum) to be doing 100% the opposite !??!

    again.
    What THE fuck !?!

Follow up question: can some of you greeks let me know later today (when word gets round about this) what the actual opinion is from folks you know regarding Tsipras \ Syriza *at this moment* ? Are people going to be more mad today than yesterday, or less? Would like the ground truth, please.

I didn’t vote this guy and his party..i didn’t vote for anyone to be honest..but i vote no in the referendum, even if i knew that was a joke..and i did that because i want to send a message..
The Greek people DON’T owe to anyone..the banks and the golden boys did..and you have to find a better solution for us..i can’t pay tax for 600 euros per month..the elders can’t live with 300 euros per month..
But we know we are deep trapped in their game..no one can deal with the wolfs..at least Tsipras is not a yesman and people here like him..the 60% actually..
Sunday is the big day as it seems..but i’m afraid we going for third memorandum..

Hahaha! Unfortunately, I have to agree with Callen on this occasion. Troika's position clearly constitutes a cynical political travesty that undermines the historically valued public verdict. That's politics DBTS... :i_dunno: It was always like that. Lies, blackmails, dead-ends and games behind entire peoples' back. The "system" (i.e., "big interests": banks, businessmen, lobbyists, maybe some politicians (they're mostly puppets) etc.) is so strong my friend. Nobody can escape its claws under the current social structure. I think we all know the only way out.

Now as far as your follow-up question is concerned, I'm sensing that at this point the Greek people is so indignant at being treated unfairly (sic) by the EU that they don't want to be part of it anymore. The majority of my people (excluding the elite minority) has nothing else to lose. They know first hand what are the consequences of a third bailout going to be, so they simply reply: "No, thank you". My final remark is that they'll probably be more mad at the governmental party for keeping Greece in the Euro at any cost, rather than showing some dignity and quitting this two-speed Europe.

Are 5 years - and counting - of severe austerity (causing a humanitarian crisis similar to a war and a nonviable debt) nothing in return for you? Every newborn baby in Greece right now owns 32.500 Euros because of Troika's policies. Do you know what that means? That money could easily go for her / his first university degree or postgraduate studies among many other things. So next time, I would politely ask you to be more serious and use solid evidence to support your arguments.

P.S: It's Greece with a capital first letter.

SCHAUBLE WANTS TO THROW YA'LL OUT!
    LET THEM THROW YOU OUT!
    THROW YOURSELVES OUT!

Throw yourselves out, get the government to give absolute tax breaks to any and all businesses that accept bitcoins. Start using bitcoins. All of you.

You will start a war (with the bankers) but it will be awesome!

It sucks and as has been pointed out it's always the fat cats that get rich. I do see how other euro countries citizens not wanting to have their tax money fund Greece. The pressure is on politicians.

So do you think Greece should pay money back?

Up to a certain point, yes. But for different reasons than the ones they want us all to believe, and in different terms and conditions than the ones imposed by EU.

P.S: Greece has paid back its debt five times already. Nowadays, the "big fish" are just taking advantage of the whole situation to make some profit. So not anymore.

So lame. Obviously you know nothing about the pension system in Greece, but that didn't stop you from repeating a cheap and invalid stereotype. Could you please tell me where was the crisis first originated from in 2008?
