Tell me you guys felt sick too!!!
    I hate roller-coasters...except Todd Jones. ;)

Sick at my stomach the whole time, especially with the bases loaded and not scoring in the 9th.
I'm glad it's not just me... Hoping we have better luck at home. You guys are making it tough to make a comeback though!

Wow...No posts at all last night huh?
I was at Primus. Which was amazing. Watched a "tape" of the game when I got home. The power was out when I left for the concert...so I called Mommy to throw a video tape in. How archaic. Picked the tape up outta their mailbox on the way home from the show. Started it at like 12:45 and closed my eyes at 3:01am...Loved every minute of it. Fister looked great.
With the exception of Kelly and Avila I think everyone else came through at the plate. Much needed win! Go Tigers. Lets even this series up today!

Unfortunately working myself...great win by the tigers...Fister gave them what they needed 71/3...on the way home Jim Price has said Texas starting pitcher's have not pitched past the 6th inning...have to wonder if this goes 6 or 7 games if that will have a toll on their bullpen. Hoping Porcello can pitch a strong 6 or 7 innings and even this series.

    GO TIGERS GO

Actually was lucky enough to make it down there last night for the game, what a job by Fister. Great to see Jackson and Cabrera getting it going too. Im trying my hardest t get down there again today, hoping for a big outing from Porcello.

No worries... :D:D...I just do not understand Leyland, Told a buddy if you get a decent 5 from Porcello go to bullpen, he pitches him in 6, the rangers score 3. Then with Cabrera on 3rd in 9th why not have Kelly run.

I dunno, just frustrated I remember '84 so well, thought this team had a little mojo going.

Thanks. Yeah, Jon Daniels has done some impressive work down here. About the only thing that didn't work out was the Koji Uehara trade.

I've always liked the Tigers and would be pulling for them if this was any other year. Cecil Fielder, Lou Whitaker, and Alan Trammel were some of my favorite players back in the day.

Tough team to beat, and the Rangers always struggle in that stadium. But I think your bullpen is worn out. Verlander needs to get a complete game. Benoit and Valverde have to be toast by now. It isn't over yet.

  • I'm a Tigers fan, and yeah, we've got 3 real good pitchers lined up for today and potentially the next two, but our lineup is way too beat up, i think. Verlander, Scherzer, and Fister are more than capable of winning 3 in a row, but we still have to score runs. This team is so slow they need 4 singles to score. Even doubles aren't scoring anybody from first; it's really frustrating.

I'm still holding out hope, but it's bleak

I agree the bullpen is beat up...we lack a lot of depth in key areas...I am impressed with the Rangers though...really think it will take a monster effort for anyone to defeat these guys.
