Jenny was awesome!  Maybe 300 people in the theater.  A good mix of solo & Rilo Kiley songs along with a couple new tunes. New album soon which she said was "about 99.9999999999...9% finished."  Looking at her setlists, it appears she plays mostly the same songs each night but mixes up the order for each show.  I'm half-tempted to catch her in Charlottesville next week again.

Holt did an admirable job filling in for Hanneman the times I saw him, but Dave is quite simply the greatest fucking drummer alive. There is no sensible reason why he shouldn't be pounding the skins on his most successful band's farewell tour. Kerry King should have apologized for ripping him off for years and offered a fairer share of the profits.

    Dead Cross kicks ass, though!

Gary Holt is doing an admirable job filling in for Jeff, no doubt.  I don't understand why fans allow Gary to be himself on stage, it has brought a new edge to the Slayer songs.  Dave Lombardo is a drummer I recognize immediately once I hear the music playing.

Saw Ween tonight, shorter than I expected but a great show as usual. For anyone that has tickets to an upcoming show, they sounded really good.
