Make sure to get there in time to see Marcus King blister his guitar :rock_on:
I actually missed him when he opened for JJ Grey and Mofro in St. Augustine back in February (North Mississippi All Stars and Los Lobos opened too, which I got to see), so I plan on seeing the MKB this time around. I heard he's incredible. At the time, I had never heard of him.

She's great!  I saw her at Midtown Music Fest in Atlanta back in 2012. She played before the Foo Fighters and came out to sing a song with the Foos.

More updates. Got down to Atlanta for Shaky Knees and caught up with some friends. Really impressed by it given the amount of high quality bands that were booked. Much smaller than the other festivals that I'm used to and better for it! Saw over 20 performances there, but the highlights (new shows) for me were David Byrne, The War on Drugs, Nathaniel Raitliff, CAKE, Parquet Courts, & Bully.

Also picked up a ticket for QOTSA in Madison. 50/50 chance I won't make it there due to a work trip, but for $20 I can live with it. Still hoping to get tickets to the second PJ Wrigley show and maybe Radiohead for a night when they are in Chicago...
