    Hey now. I lived near Detroit for a few years as a youngster and went to Tiger stadium once or twice. So I'se gots a connection wit dem. :lol:

    my parents are from detroit...my grandma was a huge tigers fan...my al team is the tigers :thumbup:

    and as a dodger fan, it's really tough to root for the yanks...sorry ;):mrgreen:

    watched the first inning, then the rains came. turned it off to watch something else, fell asleep/took a nap :lol: woke up thought it was later than what it was and turned back on the game to find out it was rained out. Guess they are resuming it tomorrow afternoon?

    The postponement is not all bad for the Tigers...Fister pitches game 1 and game 5 (if necessary)...Verlander may have been the best pitcher in the majors this year, but over the last 6 weeks or so was there anyone better than Fister?? If the Yanks don't start CC on Sunday then we likely only see him once...of course rain is forecast for tomorrow as well and that could change everything again.
