    I'm gonna jump on this thread..

    My BF did me a favor and got me hooked on PJ and I was fortunate enough to see them at PJ20 and we traveled to Atlanta this year to see them, but it's about time I see them play an official PJ show here! c'men.....

    THE WHO Pre-Party Meet-Up!

    Because we had such a good time meeting up before RNDM two weeks ago, we're doing it again before The Who! For anyone and everyone heading to the show, we're meeting up at Kieran's Irish Pub in downtown (Block E, right across the street from Target Center) at 6pm! The show starts at 7pm (right guys?).

    Do you like the new album? All in all, it's less "hooky" than the last album, but I think that's an improvement. The last album was good, but kind of a "crossroads" type album. Some songs were great ("Biblethumper," "Calm Down," "Who You Gonna Run To?") and others were pop garbage ("Neon Rose" for instance). They could have made a follow-up that was very pop-friendly and hook-oriented, or they could have made an album with less hooks but more substance. I think they did the latter. I like it a lot.

    i haven't actually listened to it yet. don't even have it. so most likely i'll be going intot he show blind and will buy the vinyl there.

    i quite liked the first album, and their affiliation with gayngs and others around here could only have helped them, imo. so i'm pretty stoked to hear the new stuff. your impressions also make me feel good about it.

    Pretty spot-on review for last night. Although Roger's voice was a bit groggy to start, it got much better as it went on. The energy definitely picked up throughout the show. So glad we went.

    Great to see Dusie, Dirty Frank and Kdiddy again... :D
