Ya, any show in MN would bring people from Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and Indiana.

Befn planning our 5 shows since December.
Berlin 1&2,Stockholm,Oslo & Copenhagen.
So looking forward to my first overseas trip!

Yeap...we got married in 2010 but haven't had the time or money to do Europe for a while. Kind of an "aligning of the stars" so to speak; work schedule works out perfect, we finally have the time off/money, we've always wanted to do Amsterdam AND PJ is playing there...

Are you doing Amsterdam?

After reading PJ20 and hearing Ed's response to "request signs" at shows, I think I'll stay away from that...

We met Jeff and Mark Arm skateboarding up in Winnipeg and I always kick myself that I didn't request "Hitchhiker" to be played that night. After hearing how they prep their setlists (I believe Jeff specifically said that Ed does most of it, but they'll usually throw in a few things that people say they want to hear), it'd be a good bet that it might have made it that night. Jeff was asking us where we're from and when we told him we drove from Minnesota, he commented on how cool it was that people drove up here for the show. "Hitchhiker" might have been a good play on that traveling theme.

Oh well...if I see Jeff or Mike or Ed or Boom or Matt or Stone in Europe, I'll be sure to mention that we're from Minnesota and we'd love to have them back. Then I'll buy them beers.

Watching Golden Gopher Basketball dominate tonight (yeah, yeah, NIT, I know) heard Faithful being played right before a commercial. Gotta say I was excited about hearing that and this gopher squad showing some strong potential for next year. Go Gophers, come to MN PJ!

I would love to see Alive earlier in the set. Unlikely but it would be a nice change. The setlist is looking pretty good so far. I think opening with Breakerfall then Animal would just kill. I just love the intro.

Ed called MN the land of a thousand lakes on the first night with Petty in '06 so you might want to make sure he knows its 10,000 and that that means Minnesota.

Might as well hit Kansas City, Des Moines, Minneapolis (2 nights) and Fargo. End the leg with alpine valley. Great way to end a summer.

Ed got a huge response from the crowd at his solo show last year. Hopefully that keeps us in the front of his mind. We haven't had a proper PJ show in nearly 10 years. Criminal.
