Myth is terrible...acoustics are worse. You can make fun of me going, that's fine. I'm a fan of CC....and hey, I've been made fun of for loving PJ as much as I do too

We're not making fun; I just think the Myth has a reputation for the type of bands that play there. Counting Crows took a real turn for the worse when they had that song with that girl (who was it, Michelle Branch?), and I'm saying, at this point in their career, I think the Myth was possibly(?) the venue played for a reason...

    No offense intended Tony!

None taken....I was surprised it was as crowded as it was....but everyone was yelling and talking the whole time....like they were at a bar and CC just happened to be the house band that night.

It made me appreciate the "silence" you get a PJ shows for slower/quieter tunes...everyone is actually listening(or singing along). The noise last night killed "Round Here" and several other low key songs to the point I couldn't even hear what Adam was singing

I've been to a few shows at the Myth. It does tend to draw bit of a trashy crowd, but it is in Maplewood.

Also for the vinyl collectors around town: Barely Bros Records in St. Paul has a copy of Gorillaz-Demon Days for like $150. Too pricey for this guy.

I work with adults with developmental disabilities. One was having a bad day and while attacking me bit my right wrist. Also ending my six year relationship. Helping the ex move some stuff out tomorrow. When it rains it pours. Atleast I have two PJ shows to look forward to in the fall.

Rough. The wife is an OT. Fortunately works with kids now. But I've heard some crazy stories from when she worked with adults.

Keep your head up....maybe you'll meet a nice guy or girl at the pre party!

Never been to the myth, but I've heard echoes of what some other people have said. At least bands are coming to MN! I can't imagine how nerve wracking it would be to be a huge music fan and live in Alaska, Wyoming, South Dakota, etc. where very few bands play shows.

If they play Regina, I'm there. That's my commitment to you. What's it? Like a 7 hour drive from mpls?

glad to hear the Counting Crows are still playing shows. I saw them play several times and always enjoyed them. The way they played Mr. Jones live, was awsome. Not every band can stay on the top of the music world like pearl jam.

Anyone think PJ can continue the 35 (give or take) songs per show for the fall concerts?

Why not? And what's the big deal if they play 35 or 29? As long as the show kicks ass and they know how to put together a show. They know how to rise and fall and keep the energy throughout the whole show.

Well, I guess I'd rather hear more songs if it meant a longer show. What's wrong with more music at a PJ show?
